Thread: My first model for sale how is it? | Forum: Vue
It's a lovely scene but I have enough flowers and trees. Don't give up...you are up against a lot of competition but there's always room for more good stuff. I hope you do have permission to sell what you didn't make?Â
Thread: which to use....? | Forum: DAZ|Studio
I used (struggled) with Poser 6, then 7 for about 4 years before moving to DS. Now I'm a Studioaholic - I use it much more than I ever did Poser. One of the best things about DS is being able to locate products easily . It used to take me ages to scroll through a list of names to find what I wanted in Poser, and as my runtime grew it started to take a seriously long and frustratng time! In Studio, because it's easy to change the names of products on the fly and because you can see images of the products, it's easier and faster to find the things I need to start being creative.
There are lots of other great things about DS - such a using aim-at lights - again no guesswork - you know exactly where each light is pointing. It also has some seriously cool plug-ins available. Occasionally I open Poser for the cloth room and to use WW before the latest stand-alone version. I've never found a use for the Faceroom. For me DS wins hands down.

One way to get the creative juices flowing is to try and recreate a passage from a book or a poem.

It's not included with my downloaded version.  I'd like to know where to get it because I have the same problem.
Thread: just incase ya didnt see this.... | Forum: DAZ|Studio
Thanks for this! I'd also ike to know if it's possible to group items in DS?
For instance, under Poses I have
!Laura All Morphs RM;
!Laura EyeEArNose INJ;
!Laura Head INJ;
!Laura Eye Head REM;
etc
etc
etc
It's the same for all the MILL figures older than v.4...and it makes for a very long list! I'd like to be able to group them under the figure name: ie have all the Laura Morphs and Mats appear under one heading - Laura. Can this be done?
thanks.

Thread: DAZ|Studio 1.8 Available within 24 hours ;) | Forum: DAZ|Studio
If it fixes DS I'm happy to reinstall...it's been crashing at least once every 5 minutes the past week.  If this new version fixes the problem I'll be over the moon. I keep checking to see if the new release is available but DAZ's site has been down for a few hours.

I may be wrong but I don't believe it's possible to vary the specific colour of an item using instances..at least not those imported from Poser. Also unless you convert the .pz3 to a .vob you would run ut of memory pretty fast because Poser figures - esp. clothed and wigged ones...are memory hogs when duplicated!
