I got Poser 3 free off a magazine too - what's the betting it was the same one English Bob - in fact I still ahve that Cd on my cluttered desktop at home so if I feel like giving myself a real laugh I can always reinstall P3.

My first content purchase was Bliss Vision Hair and Radiant Pro Light System and I felt sure that this was all I would ever need to buy to go with the free download of V3 - oh how wrong I was grins

Ahhhhhhhh, shoes and hair my biggest expenses in Poserdom - I just cannot resist it seems.

Even worse hubby and I were discussing clothes last night and I realised that it is THREE years since I bought anything new - and guess how long I've been using Poser????  Yup, since March 2005 :o|

Should still work on prop hair though because it will save the x,y and z translations that you need for the fit.  A bit of work but slightly less than RTE encoding everything (I still can't stuff to reliably decode with that either - I must pay more attention to what I am doing!)

If you are talking about .obj hairs then Injection Pose Builder is your friend.

I think it is relaunched as Addicted Souls but how much truth the little dickybird that spoke such in my ear I do not know.

Victoria 3, Michael 3 and Aiko 3 are just the base figures, you would need to buy their additional morphs from the Daz3d Site to be able to use many of the character packs available for these figures.
Hiro 3, however, comes complete with his morphs.

Karen, if you turn your external drive on BEFORE you launch Poser you won't keep losing those Runtimes you know ;o)

When I back my M Drive up (all my Poser Runtimes) I copy my P7 Runtime onto it, back up and then delete the P7 Runtime from my M Drive.  

No issues with perhaps moving something I shouldn't that way.

I'm just trying to refine it SamTherapy, my current format causes no hang ups with the store but I'm wondering if I'm making it overcomplicated for consumers - I'm good at that roll

I'll disregard the geoms folder because the chances of me making a mesh are the same as the sky becoming sky blue pink with yellow dots and little piggly wigglies flying in it.

At present my Read Me's are in a seperate folder outside the Runtime and are nested:
Documentation/VLF/Product Name/Readme_productname for productbase.txt

The textures all follow the following format:
Character Name/VLF/Base Product Name/

I only started putting the .mc6 files in because I make them in that format first and then convert to a .pz2 and soemtime ago people were saying they wished people would leave the .mc6 files in alongside the .pz2 files.  I'm just wondering now if that isn't needless bloat because I always use the .pz2 files once they are created.

Thanks Jani, it just seems stupid to have the Wishlist link take you to the homepage and no explanation of where the wishlists could be found - I did find it eventually.

Now I'm ticked because I've put one item in my cart as a gift and thought it was damn cool and I'd buy it for myself only to find i can't add it to that order because it already shows in my cart - I don't want to do loads of transactions but I'm being forced into it.   The software is already able to recognise that an item is a gift because it doesn't let me download it so why won't it let me add the same thing to the cart as a purchase for myself.

I'm off to sulk and decide if I really do want it because I'm not fond of jumping through the same convoluted hoop just to purchase 2 items sighs
