The figures BVH figures in their original low-res textures (no SSS) and flat-lined to see the mesh.
Left to right is Athena2 (no longer available), new Cynthia and low-poly Angela; the latter both in original mesh and after a 1-time subdivision using Snarly's subdivider.
Poses are uncorrected library poses (loaded as universal pose), origial V4 pose for Athena and V2 poses for Cynthia and Angela.
For Athena and Angela breast morphs applied to bring the boys anywhere near realistic proportions. October's salary slip has not arrived yet, so Cynthia has to carry her weights, but hopefuly I can do something before she gets a sore back.
I think the girls are worthy additions to the Runtime.

Downloaded her but not tried her yet. The flow of new figures these days is too thick for me to handle. Previous BVH figures worked quite well.
Good to see that thereis also something new also for those who are still on older Poser versions.

The issue with ears is of course that the outside direction is not well defined. Poser gets confusing information about where to move a hair vertex that is 'in' the ear. Best solution would be to use a 'swimcap' type proxy for the collision.

Hi RedPhantom,
Miki4 shares the UV mapping and material definitions of Miki3, and therefore accepts all those.
Tip 1: CP had a few textures for Miki3 in the First Friday Bazar.
Tip 2: You can tweak skin color etc. with the HSV node the texture is connected to.
Idea: There have been requests was for undies. If these are not intended as a 'main feature' but just something to make sure we do not see her bare privates if the wind accidentaly blows her skirt, or to make her look decent to anyone looking over the shoulder while posing her, I think a 'second skin', as overlay in the shader would qualify under 'clothing' and therefore be well within the scope of the thread.

Well, Vilters, not even boxes would be required for body parts permanently covered with conforming clothing. Low-poly 'moniker' representations acting as a former for dynamic clothing would be great though to speed up cloth simulation.
Despite of being quite covering I like the idea of dynamic kimono and sherwani because they can be opened, be blown aside, hang down when she leans over, be dropped semi-carelessly etc. in posing and reveal parts of Teyon's masterpiece.

The issue with clothing is of course that if you hide the body, all the work on the correct bending of the body is in vain. So, if the clothing you seek only show the face and the hands of a figure, you can also take those and graft them as appendages to a clothing figure you like. Specific clothing for a figure only makes sense if the body, which makes the figure, is shown, either bare or in tranaparancy.
The predominance of little 'thingies' and lingerie in the Poser figure wardrobe is therefore rational and functional. Poserdom would for example need only one single bhurka figure, with maybe some scaling, to serve all needs, unless users would want to express different styles of bhurka of course.
The bottom line of this post: if anyone (or Smith micro) could provide a conforming neck-and-head-only figure, this could probably give a lot of versatility to Miki. Users can then use the clothing as the main figure, and conform the neck and head to that. It would give the users freedom to keep consistency of figure in a series of images while having free roam in the wardrobes of other figures. The face and hair style, main points of recognition of the figure, would be consistent. That the body parts (if any) inside the closed and opaque clothing are not Miki's does not matter because it is invisible anyway. A set of poses to scale body parts of clothing made for other figures (the Vicrorias, the G2 series) to Miki would be helpful also.
Just a supplementary way to achieve a wider base of support for Miki and to call in people who are not directly involved in making clothing.
Edited to bring line of thought, I hope, out more clearly.

OOPS!
...I see no way to realistically work with the lower panels.
in my above post should have been followed by:
... in conforming clothing.
*Apologize for the inconvenience

Hello Mr. Snarly,
A dynamic Kimono will not be that difficult. It has been on my projects list for a while. I have a real life one here at home, which can serve for texture and pattern. Something like this:
Seen her American-asian background, not the full thing with Obi and the lot, but just the 'dress' with a simple belt will do I presume?
The sherwani I had to look up. Wikipedia came up with the following:
I hope it is what you mean. Seems more a man's garb, but it can be feminized of course. I am not sure if conforming is the best approach for this one. With the length of the thing, and the stiff embroided fabric, dynamic or hybrid be preferred choice. I see no way to realistically work with the lower panels.

Could you guys be more specific? You seek contemporary or period, everyday or fashion, prude or OhLaLa, SuperCheap or Prada? An image says a lot.
Technically you seek conforming, dynamic, hybrid or other?
Product wise you seek elaborate textures suitable for close-up large size rendering or something more economic with resources for group shots?

Yup Guy next door. And there is this disk he's throwing around and there's your windows facing his exercise lawn LOL!

For the altar the edges may be beveled in this case, rendering the angle between the facets less than the 'crease angle'. Lowering the crease angle value for the object will normally reduce the effect while maintaining the smooth view of curved surfaces.
The setting in the render options serves mainly to reduce render time when doing test runs for example.

Looks like you subdivided the props or have Poser smoothing of the polygons turned on for them.

Quote - well the easiest method if you must do this is to export the conformed posed item, reimport welded and then drape that
That would indeed be the way to proceed. The conformed mesh would of course have some un-natural stretch but that may be acceptable.
The process could be automated in an add-n, somewhat like Snarly's SubD add-on. The script generates the object mesh copy, hides the conformer, and sets up the cloth drape. If the lothing has complex shaders those would have to be transferred too.
A second phase of the add-on would be the deletion of the simulation, removal of the object, and un-hiding the conformer.

You mean something like half an equirectangular projection, but then inverted, so looking from a half-sphere inward to the centre?
I would be interested in that too, if only because it would mean we probably could do full equirectangulars. Too bad we are limited to the model of a real camera while in CG world we could have so much more freedom.
