As far as I can remember this image was posted on Renderosity's Art Gallery by somebody who asked for the artist's name.

Yep, that rating system seems to work! BTW: Breath taking art on a very high level. Thanks for this URL!

Salute, bonestructure! I agree with you absolutly. Allie: How about, if both sides would bend over a little, thus coming closer together? Mac users can compress their posted files in zip-format very easy, Alladin offers a shareware app called "DropZip". (Don't forget to convert your poser-stuff with "MacConverter", and turn off the "BinHex"-option in DropZip!) PC users could remember from time to time, that .exe-files won't work on a Mac (unless you have "VirtualPC" or the like). Maybe they can find a way to port their little but very usefull helper-apps (like "MorphManager"!) for Macs. Actually I've bought VirtualPC just for using Poser tools like MorphManager. :) Other people might find this a bit too expensive.

Oops! Can somebody check this tax-affair and explain to people not living in the US? I wanna support Renderosity, not the US-government ;-)
Thread: an idea of my own. let me know what ya think | Forum: Community Center
Ed (and Allie!!!): That sounds like a good idea. But it has to be planned carefully! For example think of people who post the same images in both galleries, just for being sure nobody will miss it. Second, our community could be split into "Lamers" who fill up the "regular" Gallery with lots of "rubbish" and don't even pay for it - and "Real Artists" who are better than anyone else but have to pay for entering the "premium" Gallery. - wal

For people living overseas and who don't have a credit card, sending cash will be the easiest way. Just wrap the greenbacks into a sheet of paper and put both into an envelope. I've paid many shareware fees this way and never had any problems. - wal

Yeah, MacConverter works in both ways, is easy to use, very stable, and it's free. I can't live without it ;-) If you're downloading images, textures and the like with a Mac, Netscape (or whatever Browser you're using) sets the "Creator-Tag" to Quicktime by default. So you can open the file with the QT PictureViewer (which comes with QT) by double-clicking it. For use in Poser/Bryce etc. you don't need to convert it in any way! This is true as long as Quicktime can handle the graphic format: PICT, JPEG, TIFF, BMP, GIF, and many more. T. Lemke's GraphicConverter is a very usefull shareware app! It converts from (almost) any graphic format to (almost) any other, is a good picture viewer/browser, converts ASCII text (Mac <-> DOS <-> UNIX and some more), and comes with some basic paint features, so you don't need to open Photoshop or similar "monster app" for every little change.

The formal dress has some parts which aren't visible normaly. Sorry, I don't have Poser at hand at the moment. So I can't tell you the name of those parts. You have to set ALL material parts to 100 % transparency! Hope, this helps. - wal
