Hey! I've got that clock on my desk. Sorry, I've had to much caffeine today. Cool Clock!! I've been thinking of doing a sculpture for a while now. Haven't tried it yet, but I've moved dodads from P4 to Bryce4 and fiddled with the materials so I'm know how to do it, I just need that spark of genius.
Thread: Blatant plagiarism ? | Forum: Community Center
It's been 3 hours since the original post and this guy's gallery is gone. I didn't see the pictures or the notes for them so I don't know if this was an attempted 'tribute' or what. Obviously if you want to tribute someone's art you post a link to it, not a copy of it. But, what constitutes original art? I use characters made by someone else, textures by someone else, clothes by someone else, props by someone else, programs by someone else, and I call the finished picture mine. If I don't give or take credit for the Gothic Prison (for example), will someone accuse me of stealing it from Awful Soul. Intent defines action. I'm not going to try and take credit for someone elses work, but I won't hesitate to use it because I can't draw or model or stick to the subject. Those of us who care about our effort are self-policeing, we know what's right and wrong and we won't knowingly cross the line. Those who can't or won't do that, simple don't matter. Again, I didn't see the pic that started this (I saw the originals yesterday, following a thread from here)But hopefully this won't get stupid in either direction. Have you seen my Mona Lisa, or hey! that's my red sphere. Watch yourself and be forgiving of others. Ok I'm done.
Thread: Got a question~~Help! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Just ran a render at 600dpi 2000x2000 and no problem, never seen that error message before. Read the link above quoteing the FAQ from Cl. I'm useing Windows98/2nd ed. on 62Mb RAM, 300 Mhz under the hood and about 500Mb of free elbow room. (My abacus says thats 0.5Gb for those who got confused by the Mb.) Good to know I'll be spending a week fixing everything when I finally get a new system and Poser5 and 3Dstudio Max and DeepPaint 3D and Bryce5 and everything in the marketplace and a DSL connection and all the vendors are sending me complimentary copies of their products. Sorry, I drifted.
Thread: Wow -- Big Poser Directory! Anyone Bigger? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
The system I'm running Poser4 on is a 300MHz PII, 62Mb Ram, with a 6Gig HD (671Mb free)!
The wife says I gotta pay off the car before I can get a new computer :( Yes, Poser runs on this thing, usually.
Anyone running Poser on a weaker machine?
