Thanks everybody! :) I'm glad people other than me like them... you know how it is... I thought they were pretty cool... but then I'm a little biased... as far as what's next... I'm going to try to make shoes... again for Natalia... it's all part of my effort to make more stuff for her since there isn't much. Right now as we speak I'm getting ready to put up my finalized Natalia Eye Texture and put them into freestuff... and I'm .zip-ping up the head and body texture I've been working on to send out to my tester-volunteers. I'm going to make some MAT poses for the glasses if I can figure out exactly how to do it (I think I know, but I haven't tried it just yet) to change the color of the lenses, and frames for the glasses and then put them up for free stuff too... Thanks again everyone for your encouragement, and wish me luck on the shoes... :)

http://www.renderosity.com/~rhino/spiketuts/glasses/glasses.htm I'm finding Rhino to be pretty easy for me... this time around, I tried my hand at it once before but I got frustrated... Spike's tutorial was a big help though.

You and your mirrors! I need to download the mirror you put up a while back just to see how you're doing those reflections. I agree with Alla the props look great. What does it conform to though? I assume that everything closes up, but does it conform into the hand? Or is there a shoulder strap or something?

I dunno.. she looks like someone from Guam... or maybe it's just that everyone I've ever met from Guam (all two of them) look like that... or at least from some South Pacific island...
Thread: HELP WITH ANIME HAIR PLEASE! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I'm trying to learn to model some stuff... hair is one of the things I'd like to eventually try to do... now I have zero/zilch/nil/no talent, but I do have a lot of determination... so maybe I'll try to make a hairstyle similar to that as my first hair project... but that's probably a way off still... so don't get your hopes up or anything! ;)

Kind of related, but not completely... I know ProPack uses .jpgs for bump maps, but if there is a .bum file, will it still read it? Or will it only use .jpg files? I don't have ProPack, so I dunno...

She's still a bit broad in the shoulders, but she does look much younger! I'd love to see a close up of her face... if I'm not mistaken you showed one in another thread... or at least you showed one and said that it was a character you were working on... I think... don't know if it's the same character though... excellent work though. I particularly like the fact that you're including the magnets you used on the body... it's such a pain to get a new character who's body has been shaped, and then have nothing to put on the character! I'm hoping I can get a bit of overtime this week so I can buy Dina... even though she's only 30 bucks, I blew all my poser allowance already! ;)
Thread: HELP WITH ANIME HAIR PLEASE! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
The problem with the Anime hair is the same as the Poser4 default hair... it's not built to be transmapped... most (if not all) transmapped hair is really simple planes curved and shaped into the basic hair shape... this means that when you apply the transmap to it you'll see through it like you're supposed to... the anime hair isn't built the same way... it has a front back and sides, instead of just a front and back... it's hard to explain... if you load a good transmap hair prop and set it's color to white, make it not transparent anymore, and remove the texture from it, look at it, you'll see what I mean about the planes... I doubt that I'm making any sense... but hopefully that was a little helpful... :

Heh... see I think the one in the top row looks more like the Honey one... but hey if you say it's the one on the bottom then it's the one on the bottom! Right now I've got people testing them out just to make sure that everything works like it's supposed to... if you have more ideas for colors I can always add more to it, or start working on another pack if there's interest... I'm kind of thinking about a "wild eyes" pack, but I haven't decided if I'm gonna do it or not yet.

sigh Phil you're causing me such a dilema... or is it delima... I can't spell. I keep going back to www.philc.net and putting my little mouse pointer of the button to buy the cd and then I stop myself... I SO want to order the cd, but I'm afraid it'll turn out like every other attempt I've made at modeling clothing... an terribly frustrating failure... I'm going to end up buying it... I just know I will... so everyone think positive-it'll be different this time-thoughts, so that maybe I'll be able to actually make something! :)

For some reason I wasn't able to see the link you provided Nak Muay, but I think I remember seeing the pictures before. I'd love to test it out for you if you still need volunteers. You can see some of what I've done here at Renderosity - http://www.renderosity.com/gallery.ez?ByArtist=Yes&Artist=Cin%2D Thanks, Keith k.wade@ix.netcom.com
