I haven't tried doing this with it, but have you tried the freeware program SimpleEdit? It's very much like Simpletext, but with no document size limitations and a few extra features. http://www.evatac.com/products/default.lasso?-token=

Looking sharp! :) Ya know, if you're ever bored, you could also make a dented and rusted texture, to show what it would look like after it's been driven a few decades...

Yow, sounds good! Thanks! I'm a total 3D newbie who has only a vague idea yet what a symetrical lattice is, but next time I have time to sit down with the Bryce manual, I'll look into it.:) I'm also considering trying to model it in Strata. Fish are fairly simple shapes, shouldn't be too hard of a project, and a good one to learn on. I've also got Painter 3D, and could probably paint a texture directly from the photo using the cloning brush...I'm hoping to eventually create a German Shepherd texture for the wolf that way, using photos of my pooch.

Gotta agree: this looks fantastic exactly the way it is! It doesn't really need anything more, in my opinion. Looks like a slick little space rover, straight out of some galactic vehicle showroom. The textures you have on it look terrific, too.
Thread: Okay, this is my first serious attempt at a landscape in Bryce | Forum: Bryce
I think it's eEXTREMELY good! :P I do agree with the thought of a muddy or wet look just above the water line. My only personal suggestion is that the right side could use a little more value contrast for balance with the tree on the left. Maybe make a bush with black branches or dark leaves behind the other tree, so that you only see bits of it. And (just my opinion) a couple of flying bugs or birds, or a bunny in the grass or something would add a lot of life and interest. That's just personal preference, though. I like landscapes that look lived-in. :)

Nice looking chair. I probably wouldn't have much use for it myself, but those eyeglasses you made are terrific!

Probably not, I rendered it with the quick-render button on. At any rate, I've noticed that the jpegs I post all seem to get less smooth when I upload and view them. For instance the color banding around the sun doesn't appear in the original jpeg when I view it at home. I don't know why.

Yeah, Pleistocene mammals would be REALLY cool! There are probably also thousands of varieties of dinosaur which nobody has done yet because they aren't well-known. Ceratosaurus, skelidosauris, etc.
