Well, I have made some progress with it. Building on what you posted, I'v added the ability to switch geometries. Now the top part can be switched between a ball, a cone, and another box. Both items delete when either are selected. The only problem now is that when anything else in the scene is selected, it disapears unless (menu) 'Display' - 'Deformers' - 'Show all' is selected. Also, it disapears when the scene is rendered. Now if those two problems can be solved...Thread: Delete 2 props at once. A small discovery :) | Forum: Poser Technical
Oh! Thank you for posting this. I'm off to download it. Won't get a chance to try it 'til after work today, but I'll post back then. THanks again!

Wow, major thanks, mac. I'll give this a try. Unfortunately, it's now time to leave and go pick up the kids from their after-school activities... Thanks again.

Thread: Multiple objFileGeom or objFile in a .pp2 ? | Forum: Poser Technical
I have had some limited success with parenting the arrow head to the arrow shaft, then saving the two props together in one library entry. Thus, the .pp2 actually contains two props. The arrow head, being parented, stays where it's supposed to. However, deleting the item then becomes a two-step process of deleting the arrow shaft, then the arrow head. But it did solve some of the odd problems I was having trying to use two geometries for one 'thing'. I tried making the arrowhead a smartparented prop to the arrow shaft, but still when deleting the arrow shaft, it leaves the arrow head to be deleted separately. Okay, so now does anybody have any ideas how I can link two props together so they both delete when the parent is deleted? (smartparented items to a character delete when you delete the parent... why not when props are smartparented together?)

Thank you, mac. I tried the dial-a-prop. It changes the entire geometry for the item. In effect, the entire item is changed as a whole. I'm wondering, does that mean poser loads the entirety of each of the possible geometries into memory? Or does it only load the one geometry it needs for the current dialed item? I was hoping for a way to have common parts of the prop load and stay, with the changing part, err, well, changing. It'd be a great way to cut down on total file size, too - if it can be done.

Awesome. This is something that will be VERY useful. Might there be a "printer-friendly" (all on one page) version in the future? Or perhaps a zip version? Kudos and many thanks for making this available.

Does Daz have a place where they list their patches / updates? I know they do on the page for the individual product itself. However, I think it would be easier if they had one spot to go to instead of having to go back in, navigate to the product you bought, and scroll down looking for updtes for each and every individual product. Sorry, I'm in a whining mood. whine, whine, whine.

I'll take a stab at describing morphs... Morphs are an altered geometry for a "thing" (face, body part, prop part, etc.) It serves as the target for the morph of the original "thing" from which it was made. I guess the classic example is Vulcan ears. Someone would take an .obj of a characters head and then alter the mesh so that the ears were pointed. Back in Poser, you can add this morph target to that character. When you do, it gives you a dial. At its simplest, the dial would have a 0 to 1 value. 0 would mean the morph target is not applied in any way. A value of 1 would mean the morph target is fully applied to the characters geometry. When you dial up the morph, Poser alters the character progressively to match the morph target. At a setting of .5 the characters geometry would be altered in poser to look half-way like the target Vulcan ear geometry. At a setting of 1, it would be altered to fully match the Vulcan ear geometry. The effect of multiple morph targets get blended together.
