The joke I've heard far too many times at any of my jobs is "keep it down, you're too loud", because I'm the quiet mouse working hard in the back corner.  But a little small talk even if you don't feel like it or have time, and accompanied with a warm smile when you can, it goes a long way.  They might not know you well, but they'll think of you positively.

At least that's been my experience. :)

Every time I get a vision in my head and try to bring it to life, it never turns out like I'd envisioned.  And often it just gets scrapped, because I can't get it to do what I'd wanted.  If I don't scrap it, I usually just end up adjusting my vision to meet my limitations.

Then other times I'll just be playing around with a new toy or three, and out pops an image that surprises me.  I love it when that happens.  Seems the more I overthink my images, the more I sabotage myself.

Thank you!!!  I just installed a new harddrive and upgraded to Windows 7 yesterday, and for the life of me I could not get the Poser 8 library to come up (reinstalled P8 and Flash several times, unblocked firewall settings, etc., etc.).  But unchecking that one little box finally did the trick.

I always go by a handle.  The only place I have ever put my real name is on my personal website in the fine copyright print at the bottom to protect my writing.  I also specifically use my maiden name because it is extremely common (whereas my married name is uncommon enough that we're the only ones in the phonebook).

While most people out there are decent, mature human beings, it never hurts to be careful.

My apologies if I missed the answer to this, but so much of the shader node talk just goes zoom over my poor little head.

I have a favourite skin that I love to work with (RMTH Bianca Combo), but every time I turn on GC in Poser Pro, she renders grey.  The eyes and lips are fine, but her skin is a sickly grey.  Is there something I need to turn off or on in order to fix it?  I've tried running the python script to change everything from 2.2 to 1, but that does nothing to solve it.  And I'm not sure where to even start playing in the materials room.

Is this a common problem with a simple fix?  Or is there a patient explanation somewhere of what to do to fix it?  Thank you!! :)
