Thread: Poser is wierd... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hey, it's the Escher effect. Pretty cool. I did that with the catsuit. Try applying the BulletHole Picture Tube in PSP and you get a nice effect also, especially around the sides where the holes are stretched. It actually looks like ripped clothing. Newc

Being the sick, twisted, Alice Cooper fan that I am, all I can say is: "One thing I miss is Cold Ethyl nad her skeleton kiss" But then I do agree with Dragon Missy, and yet I see Diane's side of it as well. Newc (then again, maybe it's an ad for RealDoll.com)

You could also add a mirror to the wall over the cardinal. Of course, that will probably increase your render time dramatically. It took 19+ hours to render a scene in Bryce 4 I did recently for the USOC (now if I can convince them that they NEED it - 8-)). I used three very reflective materials, two cloud layers, and a ground plane, and made it render at 2880 x whatever. With all that reflective material, and plenty to reflect, I'm surprised my poor Pentium 233 didn't roast. lol I started it about 7-8 pm then let it finish rendering while I was asleep (turn monitor brightness down), and when I awoke it was done. It's a big@$$ image, but worth the wait. Newc

Thread: Poser 4 curly hair problem... help! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I have several hair models that do the same thing. Actually, any hair that didn't come with Poser or from Zygote does it. I finally figured out that selecting Edit-Restore-Element (when the hair is selected) will zip it right back onto their noggin. As for the Parenting/Conforming issue, I agree they need to fix that. It's annoying to have to pose the clothes by hand because of a glitch in the pose system. Mostly you can just conform it, then apply the same pose, but sometimes it doesn't work that way. Hopefully P5 will have a better parenting system. I want to parent body parts together (like hands for baseball and golf swings) as well as have figures mimic each other (for those 'Chorus Line' scenes) without having to do extra work (God, I am SO lazy). Imagine being able to have multiple figures on the screen and just pose one while the others follow its movements. Newc (convenience is next to Godliness)

AT&P (American Telephone & Pentagram):'Reach out and summon something' or is it Microsoft tech support?

Very nice! Technically speaking, the eagle would actually take up most of the right side of the image, those are very large birds. BTW, is that a snake on the eagle's plate? Newc

Looks like it's time for caller ID? Is there any way to trace a connection back to it's source? Then again, maybe some guy in Poland is running a server, and he decided to come here, but in doing so he brought all his connections with him? On the other hand, Polish hackers seem to be increasing in number lately. Newc
Thread: P4 Man New Face (Third time the charm?) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Aside from the copyright issues you mention, I see no problem! It's about time someone tried to give the P-guy a better mug. I guess Zygote spent so much time creating the perfect woman they didn't have time to make a comparable man, but just threw one together. Good work, Nemo. Newc (Ring around the Poser forum again?)
