After what Paul said.....it also looks like they added vertically flipped layer of the structures for a reflection value. blurred and low opacity amongst whatever other tweaking it needed. Also a shadow layer for the foreground buildings, which I would have used a gradient mask on that layer to difuse the hardness.

These are the best prices I found out there for the I2 pen.
I'm using a Cintiq, though I never tried my I2 pen on the Cintiq before I sold the I2/
Good luck

Darn, To bad you hadn't checked a few months back before "NoMonthlyFees" changed up their pricelist. Last year I took the " $200 for a lifetime host" deal, all I pay there now is $20 a yaer for domain REG fee,
Good Luck Joe

I'm gonna buy the Pro version too. I figure if enough of us do that then the powers-that-be at DAZ will sit up and take notice,(if Bryce itself is lucrative) and maybe throw some more money into further development of Bryce. I think the HDRI-making feature in the Pro ver. is almost worth the price of admission alone.
*Agreed, the buzz & purchasing alone shows the patient nature of Brycers from the early years, and how they're willing to support their old favorite.

*The things that made it feel homey and comfortable in the first place. They haven't messed with the beloved interface
My work flow is like swimming......once you've learned how, you never forget.
Will definately be buying the pro!!

Each persons work is unique, these two guys have great talent and a strong set of skills in software that makes their art appear a breed apart. However each piece they do takes months, sometimes even more. How long do most others spend on a particular piece?
I was amazed at how long PMD (Phil McDarby) takes on his work.

Try planning out a project that is bigger than anything you've ever done before, see where that goes.

The trick is not to have to remove them by saving a start file name and then save files
with numbered names throughout the progression of the project.
Sounds like a great project, have fun.

The curve (2) is the inside portion of a torus with all the unwanted portions booleaned and cutaway by using combine.
Section (3) is a duplicate of # (1). the length was compressed showing the extreme taper.
This is a quickly thrown together model, though I'm sure with a little more TLC as with Chris's train modeling, it would be difficult to discern from a standard 3d model. I can only imagine the trick will be to get all the texture (shader) materials to coincide.
Good Luck, keep us updated.

Go back & remember why you came to Bryce the first time.
Look at your FAV artists galleries.....and your own.
There's a long learning curve to some software, and I like to come back to Bryce because I know it so well.
Wherever you land, Have Fun!!
