Yup redownloaded Library Manager 2.6 and works very well so happy as love the auto conform and magnatize amongst other things it does. :)

Cg or you mean GC?  All I know is most times I turn gamma correction off or tone it down because it changes some textures in a way I don't want it too.

Your right so annoying it says $199 USD even with the current exchange rate $199 USD does not come to $221 AUD at the moment as of May 25th $199 US comes to $205.75 AUD, some shenanigans going on somewhere.

I have Pro 2014, though I had made a V4 figure with Lali's Bits and Xameva & Meipe"s Perfect V4 fixes injected in, that I had created in Pro 2012.  And so far all seems good it loads in will check to see if the dials actually do anything. :)  

Got mine and since I live in Australia got slugged the GST for it so instead of the $207 I worked it out at, (being the Australian Dollar is lower at the moment) that and the extra 2 years service I paid $230 AUD for it...

Man I hate taxes but better than it could have been..

Got mine downloaded in about 2 to 3 hours not bad considering I get round about 600 to 700 k a second..

Conforming clothing that works all the time (or 99%)...  Sometimes it works right off the bat, but I'm often messing with a clothes morp script, or Wardrobe Wizard, or the morphs dials trying to get clothes to fit without pokethrough even though I'm using standard morphs.

Hair.  Seems the collisions setting is pointless, at least for still renders.  (Yes I set for all objects then turn collisions on).  Hair that could deform on on object automatically would make it a lot easier and add to realism.

If you have a look at the link supplied by paganeagle2001 you will see the new fitting room hopefully this will fix a lot of the problems one has with conforming clothing..

There are some creators out there that make excellent looking clothing that fits well abd there are others that don't..

The process of creating clothing is not as easy as some think it is, even clothing for Genesis can be ill fitting and that has the best system for fitting conforming clothing..

But in the end it is the inherant problems with the model you are fitting the clothing to that creates poke through Daz's Gen 4 characters are notorius for poke through due to the design of the base model..

The more interesting thing is creating clothing within Poser..

And this sounds very interesting indeed..

I bought Reality 3d, installed, followed manual for a QuickStart. nothing.  Says it's rendering.  Let it go all night.

It works, but no idea as yet what I'm doing wrong.  Nice dots on black background though.

Printed out manual, to figure out what I'm doing wrong, but I was under the misconeption it would be fast.  IT IS NOT.  It would still be worth it if the results were jaw dropping, but I'll have to wait and see.

For me personally, Firefly is slow.  I know I should be patient, really I do, but I'm not. Too much to do. 

My guess is that if I ever get a render to work, I'll rarely use it, simply because it takes so long.  Maybe they will address that with fixes.  Hope so.

Until then, back to Firefly.

Did you adjust the settings under the Tone Mapping section in Lux Render? If say you select linear mode you will get settings like Film ISO, Shutter, f-stop and Gamma just like you would a camera.  If those settings were set wrong in Reality they will come out dark in Lux adjusting the Tone Mapping settings will make a big difference.

And well as for fast no it isn't due to Lux being an unbiased renderer it takes a lot longer to get really good results compared to programs like Poser, Daz Studio, Carrara, Vue and so on.

All depends what you want from your renders to be fast then you use a biased render engine.  Luxrender on the other hand being unbiased will take longer and anyone going into it should know what to expect..

Every 3D renderer has its pluses and minuses some do things others do not and vice versa it all depends what you want to do and how much time you are willing to put into it.

About one of the better things about LuxRender is being able to adjust the light intensity, and effects while it is still rendering.

The main minus is that if you don't like something about your scene you will have to restart again especially annoying if the rendering has been going a while.  But most renderers tend to do that to a degree..

The other thing is the learning curve, Pose2lux and Reality are vastly different. Pose2lux requires a lot of understanding of what each part of it does, I never got used to it due to there being too many settings to adjust..

Reality on the other hand simplifies the settings a lot and allows you to get your render going faster rather than spending a lot of your time fiddling with too many settings.

Yup so true a case of if it ain't broke no need to fix it.  Though I have used XP and have it on another partition of my drive I use Windows 7 exclusively now one main reason being it is the 64 bit version of Win 7 so I can use all 12 gig of system memory that I got installed.

And so far I have had it going for I reckon over a year now which is not bad for me, because when I was using Win XP I would be reinstalling it every six months or so due to it going south on me for various reasons.

But in all that I do not like IE and if I can avoid having to use it I will I don't like it and I don't really trust it.

I use either Firefox, Opera and or Chrome due to the fact that I don't trust IE and would not touch it with 10 foot barge pole.

I spose I can get used to it the marketplce does look better with larger pics amd so on. Still deciding on how wishlist looks.  Product pages do seem to have a neater look about them though the white can be blinding at times.

Surprised at there being no real change to how galleries look thought there might have been unless still in the works.

Now that I have had time I say yes the site looks better just wish the Rendo title was a bit flashier but can't have everything.

I am wondering am I coming to and logging into Rendo or Daz?  If not for the title and what not I thought I was at their site.  Where Rendo now has White top and bottom with grey middle, theirs is grey top and bottom with white in the middle..

All I can say is all that made Rendorosity special and stand out from the other online content stores is now dead and buried.
