Thread: Vicki 2 and Mental Health! Help? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Eep. I wish I could help, but I've never had that problem, and I'm not on a MAC... but maybe if Vicky met a nice albino gentleman she could still go out for a night on the town! :)

sigh A long time ago I stopped trying to figure people out, it just makes my head hurt to think how people can justify it... even if you use the "Well they wouldn't have paid for it anyway if it weren't free", it doesn't make sense... if they weren't going to pay for it, then they shouldn't get to HAVE it! I haven't personally bought any of PhilC's stuff, but I look at everything he does put out, and I think I've downloaded every freebie he's ever put out, and I think it's a shame that someone would do something like this... I guess what I don't get more than anything though, is wouldn't SOMEONE have to have paid for it at some point to get the original files? And if so, WHY would that person just give it away... (shaking head). I actually just posted a question in the store forum to make sure that I wouldn't accidently be doing something illegal in regards to someone making a purchase for me, and my question was answered, and I know that it'll be okay the way that it will end up being done, but I'm very careful about stuff like that, you never know when you're going to be crossing the line, but to do it deliberatly kind of bugs me... oh well... yet more proof that I'm better of not liking most people until they give me a reason to. K- PS - I know I ranted a bit, but I do feel bad for all of you hard working people who get your stuff ripped off... that's part of the reason I try to always credit the model/texture makers in all of my images, unless it's late, and I forget, then it's not my fault! ;)

Thread: Hand-painted vs. photo-based textures; hi vs. low res | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hard to say... I find myself using handpainted textures more often than photo-based ones... (Shari by Eowyn, is a staple... THANKS Eowyn!). It may be my luck, but I find that I have to mess with lighting a lot with photobased textures to get them to look just right, sometimes they look splotchy, and I get frustrated and either give up, or switch to something else... but then I've seen INCREDIBLE work dones with photorealistic textures... so again, hard to say... YAY I was so NOT helpful... ;)

I SO have to buy this when it comes out... jumping up and down in anticipation... I hope it comes out soon though, I don't think I can keep jumping like this for very long...
Thread: help in jointing a new dress? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
That's a great dress, but I bet it'll be a pain to make posable, just because it's long and form fitting in the legs... I know I've seen tutorials on how to do it but I forget which ones seemed the best/easiest... good luck!

Well... lalverson has a far east construction kit available in the marketplace, I know you wanted free, but it's only $15.00 and it's SO worth it, you can create a huge range of interior and exterior settings with the props included.

Thread: Where to buy Hair Like this? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Two things... the hair is postwork, I forget who did the pictures for the MilGirls, but he/she/it posted them here a few days before the girls were released, and said that, that particular hair style was done... I THINK in paintshop pro... something about a "nervous" brush, or something like that... Treemaker - it won't render straight out of Poser, you can get a utility from Masa's site - http://www.eurus.dti.ne.jp/%7Emasasi/ - to make a renderable .obj file out of it.
