WIthout knowing what it is that you're trying to open it's hard to say exactly what the reason is, but I think I know what part of it is... The first error is because you're not using the same version of Poser as whoever created it... if you've updated to 4.0.3 then it's probably because whoever made it has the ProPack. You can make it stop giving you this error if you edit the .cr2 file and change the version number to whatever version you have. The second error is because it's looking for the P4 version of Victoria, which comes with V2... so if you haven't bought V2 then the .obj file isn't there. If you HAVE V2 then try deleting the .rsr file for the .cr2, sometimes that works. The third error is actually because of the second error... that's just what Poser says when it can't find an .obj file... it's really not a memory thing. Hope that helped. Cin-
Thread: Full & Feathered Haircut for Michael/ Victoria | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Well I figured out Michael to Victoria and Michael to Posette... Michael to Victoria xscale 99% yscale 102% zscale 94% ytrans -.031 ztrans -.008 Michael to Posette xscale 102% yscale 92% zscale 92% ytrans -.042 zstrans -.005 This has worked for me with every Michael hair prop I've gotten, but keep in mind that all of the settings for it before had are at 100% and 0. I've noticed that some hair props aren't always @ 100% and 0. If anyone knows the parameters for Posette to Victoria off hand I'd like to know those. Cin-
Thread: HELP! Does anyone know how to ... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
RSR converter is really easy to use too. I've made thumbnails of almost every transmapped hair prop I have with it, so I can remember what's what.
Thread: Tips for doing extensive full body morph? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I don't think you can import a full body morph... though I could be wrong. You'd have to morph each body part, and then go to "Figure -> Create Full Body Morph". Then you can go back, turn each body part morph back to 0 then set the Body morph to 1. Like I said though, I could be wrong.
Thread: Any Ideas For New Characters For Poser? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Just to clarify... you mean whole new meshes? Not just a morphed version of one of the characters already around?
Thread: WIP-Texture for Rogue Costume Pack II (Vicky) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
A dark grey (or black) and blood red color combination would be pretty cool... but the one above looks excellent, it really does almost look like real suede.
Thread: Looking for Upstanding Novice Poser Community Citizen for Beta Tester | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I'm not sure if I'd qualify for "novice" enough, but I'm by no means "professional", and I own everything you mentioned except the kids (which I probably won't be getting right away... I'm poor), but if you still need volunteers, you can count me in. :)
Thread: is this even feasible for a novice? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Go to morphs.bbay.com and read Travelers tutorials on morphing with magnets... you can do it all right inside of poser... and the tutorials are pretty helpful in figuring out how to use the magnets... unless of course you have some other 3d modeling program, then you can probably find a tutorial for that particular proram to use... there's a tutorial for Anim8or, and the program itself is free... www.anim8or.com (I think)
Thread: STILL having trouble w/ eyebrows :( | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I guess I've just had good luck with Vicky's upper eyebrows... I use them all the time with a transparency map set to them... and I've never had any trouble with them not working (other than when I tried making a MAT file, and I even managed to fix that eventually)... (knocking on wood)
Thread: Selling things online... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I totally agree with melanie... I personally have been trying to figure out if I can convert some of your P4Fem textures over to Vicky, but I get frustrated too easily... so I would totally pay for Vicky textures of that quality.

Thread: Anton Kisiel | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I have several of Anton's products, and couldn't be more pleased with them. As far as his stuff from Bbay, he said before that he's reworking a lot of his older stuff and decided to take them down, so that when the newer versions are ready no one will feel like they've been cheated, if they just got the older version. If you're looking for something specific you could email him and ask to buy it directly.
Thread: Material Pose Question - Why is it doing this? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I'm actually not sure what that's from, I noticed it too... I thought it was a flaw in the texture map, but it could be a highlight now that you mention it... I'll have to check.

Thanks djthomas. Jaager - I actually use the upper eyebrows most of the time... I just didn't with this particular texture... I have two versions... one has the eybrows painted out completely, which I use the upper eyebrows with... I think the upper eyebrows are great actually, you can make some very interestingly shaped eyebrows with varying the trans. map.

I thought that's what it was too, but I tried that, and it still did the same thing... there's obviously something that I missed somewhere, and I'll probably find it eventually but at least I got it to work with a work around. Thanks for all of your help everyone! :)
