Becco_UK: A few other people have asked about the coupon already, so once I have an answer, I'll post it here.
Carolly - thanks for moving the thread. Sorry for the extra work.
softriver: I'm not a Mimic expert by any stretch. You'd probably be better off asking at the DAZ site where you could get a better answer. Among others, Josh monitors the Mimic forum and he's one of the ones who is working on Mimic.
Cheers!

Thread: Check out Mimic 3 for Poser! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
It sounds to me that if you own Mimic 2 Pro and/or Mimic for LW and bought Mimic 3 already, then you've been given a $10 gift certificate. (I can vouch for that one.) If you haven't purchased Mimic 3 yet, but you own Mimic 2 Pro and/or Mimic for LW, then you should find a coupon in your account. (If you don't see the coupon in your account, try putting Mimic 3 into your basket and going to checkout. Look at the bottom of the page and see if there is an additional $10 discount in there.)
It's one or the other: gift certificate if you already bought it, coupon if you haven't bought it yet.
I found out about this from reading Bryan's post, which I mostly quoted above. I don't have any insider info on this.
Cheers!

SWAMP - did you put V3's head on the Mil Girl? If so, I do have a tutorial that might help on the .cr2 part: http://www.fallencity.net/tut-posa/poptop-a1.php Hope this helps, Cres

Hmm ... the server might still be slogging through accounts for the $10 coupon. I know the $10 back is working because I upgraded from Mimic 2 Pro to Mimic 3 today and found the $10 gift certificate in my account afterwards. If you don't see anything by tomorrow, you might want to post to the DAZ thread for clarification. You can also try just adding Mimic 3 to your basket and going to checkout to see if there is a $10 discount at checkout. Hope this helps, Cres

It's probably just a mistake posting this here instead of the Showcase Forum. I'm assuming DAZGAL is with DAZ so I asked one of the Mods to move the post to the Product Showcase Forum.
BTW: DAZ dropped a $10 (20% additional discount) into peoples accounts that owned Mimic 2 Pro and a $10 coupon (20% additional discount) good only for Mimic 3 for people that purchased Mimic 2 Pro and have not yet purchased Mimic 3: http://forum.daz3d.com/viewtopic.php?t=7338&start=126

Thread: Daz's "The Taylor, for David? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
You need to inject the morphs into David, then save the .cr2 file. Use that new .cr2 file with the Tailor. The basic David.cr2 contains the morph names so they can be injected, but not the morph information itself. Cheers!
Thread: Ha Ha, OK Curious Labs, you're so funny with your little prank. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Something similar happens to me. If I save a figure or a scene with the SS magnets applied to clothing, then when I open up the scene again, the clothing doesn't conform properly. I have to delete the clothing, re-add them, then reapply the Conform Clothing pose. It's really annoying. P5, SR4. :(

Thread: Help with rsr files | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I forgot about injecting the morphs, thanks FreeBass. IPB will also put the information into the Pose file so the morphs will inject into V3 at the same time. You can also type the information in by hand into a Pose file but if you have a lot of morphs, it will take a while. Cheers!
Thread: Help with rsr files | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Are you trying to create a file that saves the morph information? If so, you need to save a Pose file and make sure to say "Yes" when it asks, "Include morph channels in pose set?" Another way to do it is to get DAZ 3D's Injection Pose Builder which will let you save only the morph information. The .rsr and .png files that you see in the Pose library are library thumbnails. This is what tells Poser what the file looks like. (.rsr is for P4, .png is Poser Pro Pack and P5. For best compatibility, make sure to create a .rsr file for P4 people. 3D0 Software will do that for you.) Hope this helps, Cres
Thread: Poser merchants please support Poser 5 customers | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hey, I agree on the "P5 as well" idea. I'm just saying that "P5 only" still isn't feasible yet for most merchants if they want a decent return on investment. (It wasn't clear to me from the initial post which was being request.) Cheers!
Thread: Poser merchants please support Poser 5 customers | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
P4 stuff works in P5. P5 stuff doesn't work in P4. I can see asking for P5 specific MAT files be included in packages, but asking for P5-only stuff means cutting off at least half the potential market. The hair room is still buggy for me. Yes, I have the latest patch. I've also seen very few decent P5 hair models. Dynamic cloth - I can't figure that room out even with tutorials so why buy dynamic cloth? I'd rather take 5 minutes and post work any poke-through with a regular, conforming cloth. Firefly is freaking slow on my machine and in many cases looks a lot worse than the P4 rendering engine. Shadows are more-or-less wysiwyg with the P4 engine. Firefly's shadows seem to be random. (And the latest patch screwed up one type of shadow anyway - I can't remember which one.) The way I see it, about half the users may have P5 by now, but once you look at how many of them are successfully using the advanced features, that potential market for P5 only stuff is far lower. P5 functionality as well as P4/PP is fine, but most merchants can't afford to support P5 only. Cheers!

Thread: Completley lost: Installing Files in P5 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Most of the freebies here are in self-installing .zip files these days. Most of those that don't have the information in readme files. I do have a tutorial on where things need to go, but it's missing the P5 materials. .mt5 files and their corresponding thumbnails need to go into RuntimelibrariesMaterial folder. http://www.fallencity.net/tut-posb/p-file-locations.php Hope it helps, Cres
