Hmmm...well...recent events have made me realize your same merits you just stated Ironbear/Sherman....warts and all....no one is perfect...and we all learn from our mistakes. I happen to agree on some aspects here....sweeping something under a rug only makes folks curious as to what is under that rug...again...and again...and again...however...you yourself said also something else I happen to agree with wholeheartedly Sherman...."time to move on"...although the C&D would be a wonderful scripture of past melodrama that perhaps was the very "baby teeth" of this forum mouth...(and Mother's many times do save baby teeth)...it...is....time....to....move...forward... ;-)

Double posted with bear....Jackson...much of what Ironbear says is true...and makes total sense....that is why if a book was ever written on the history...it could NEVER be done by only one...that would be so very unfair... But I do beg to differ on one aspect...the C&D...although there was incredible history there...on many things...I believe the C&D was more...or less...a "thrashing" ground...more like a scratching post...like when a baby screams and screams and screams...we all know there is a reason...but the "scream" itself is only a telltale sign...a part of the puzzle of why the baby is screaming... C&D was NOT the end all to be all...nope...nope...nope...but....it "was" indeed "entertaining" as "hell"....;-) Good day to ya's...

...oh...incidently...Jackson....take a REAL good look at those archives posted here above...take a "close" look at the membership numbers...how many folks are "online"....see...maybe around 120 people's...tops...what do you see today...on average...hmmmm? Quite a big dif huh....how do you think it got that way...that's what you need to ask yourself...what made Renderosity JUMP so high as to go from hovering around a mere 100...to..."hundreds"....and then even into the "thousands"...um yes...there IS a difference...yup...uh-huh....

What started the "war", and who, what, where and why....these things really are "inconsequencial" Jackson...what really does matter more than anything is where these communities are now and where they go from here... For a looooong, long time and especially upon this place, there was a hell of a lot of fallouts from many, many things...ill feelings, animosities, spites, guilts, finger pointing, blaming, feudal competition, analyzing to the point where there just is no more purpose to anything regarding any of this but to deny moving forward....you know where all this gets you...???....NOWHERE!! All it does is hold you back....and cause distent...and divide community spirits that need to thrive on all the enormous potentials and credibilties rather than constant closet skeletons that only irritate with their obstrusive rattling....HISTORY and what contraversies, sacrifices, wars, whatever you may call them, they all become "growing pains"....these are signifigant in their own way for they did much to erect these places and solidify the foundations...however...does one wish to forever wander within the thoughts of our puberties when we have hopefully come far past this and realize a maturity level that will now allow us to "get on with things" rather than look for reasons to constantly hinder... Perhaps some day someone should write a historical analogy....but...first...we would have to make sure that if this was ever done...it is done with sincere respect and value regarding all...personally...I wonder if this is even a possibility...
