My first impressions when we met were more positive than I expected.

First all positive impressions...
Fantastic implementation of the feet. They are the best thing I have ever seen.
It's great how you can adjust very natural-looking movements, I'm totally thrilled even though I'm not a foot fetishist...
The eyes, really great.
The whole rig worked out well to very well. Even if morphing changes have been made to the joint areas, everything can still be moved well and presentably.
The face and neck are also very well done, look good and suggest many possibilities.

And what I didn't like:
The marginal features of this figure!
For your money you get a merciless basic figure, nothing more and nothing less.
No body details such as ribs, muscles or tendons can be highlighted with this basic package.
The skin shader is also delivered in a rather lean version. The basic settings of the shader are hardly usable. After a few corrections and removing the SSS map, which in my opinion was completely unnecessary, LaFemme2 looked a little better after rendering.
Here the intention quickly becomes clear that you should buy these things later. Understandable...!

You can't even begin to compare them with Project Evolution One and its hundreds of setting options that go down to the smallest detail and the massively superior skin shaders.
After bending, LaFemme2's knees and elbows remind me of buckled foam insulation tubes. However, with careful morphing you can almost completely eliminate this.
It takes a few hours of work to regulate what I consider to be unnatural body shapes.
With excessive morphing, the basemesh tends to form spikes or smaller deformations. But other characters also have this problem.

The back two figures are originals. The two in front and the one at the front are roughly edited figures by me with my skin shader settings.

So, my last picture. I'll do you a favor and go... Many things about you inspired me and there were fantastic pictures to see. I was also able to learn a lot from you in technical terms. I've been with Poser since the early days and I feared the end of this great program. Luckily, people who saw the potential of this software didn't let it happen. And for your information, I also made a - a not inconsiderable - contribution to it. I do not apologize for my somewhat coarse articulation here in this forum. It's happened before in the past... I have a massive aversion to arrogance and haughtiness and I can't resist kicking this very person in the shin. And no, I don't get drunk at strip clubs and I haven't thrown a tantrum either. And yes, I too have been in my job for well over 20 years and can draw on a certain amount of experience. But that's no reason for me to consider myself an indispensable super crack. I still have a lot to say, but that doesn't belong here, not in this forum. Before it gets any worse - and I know myself - I say goodbye.

I was very pleased that my comment had an effect. My criticism may sound a bit harsh, but it's still criticism, not an insult. With so much self-adulation about LaFemme, a few words from another direction are certainly not inappropriate. And I stand by my statement, tiring or not... I've tried many times to make LaFemme a humanoid character, but unfortunately it didn't work with the rig structure. And I'm tired of always kneading figures into shape first, so that they actually have human traits. Leave such work to professionals, because they actually exist. So, for the child with the "tantrum" everything is said. Good luck..

Really? Just a toon figure again? What happened to the legs? Aside from the fact that they look like baseball bats, you can shoot a soccer ball through them. Even I, as an absolute dilletant, would do better with Blender or Z-Brush. Honestly, it may be that some are into such thighs but so far off the path??? What use is the most beautiful skinshader and the coolest wightmapping rig when a figure like this is about to start? Who does this? I would be interested to see the facial expressions of Ali, Vyusur and Erogenesis when they see this doll. Certainly there will be some who will take offense at my criticism, but there will also be those who will agree with me. So it shouldn't come as a surprise that so many are switching to AI. She can do it better! It doesn't surprise me with such a character who is "put on his feet" like this.

"Neo" In this picture the guy with the camera that you can see in the mirrored glasses...should see.

After some experiments I found the cause of Poser 13 crashes. Every time I use the character "Neo" from Vyusur, Poser crashes. Not immediately but pretty much certainly while using the prog.. No idea why that is. It happened that Neo's polygons were totally torn apart and only switching from Poser Unimesh to Poser Traditionall patched it back together. Must be the base mesh or a messed up rigging structure.

Keep 'em coming people, this thread is such an inspiration - fantastic renders!  Although I wonder why some of you only post here and not in the Poser gallery as well :) 

One of my render images was used for Poser 13 promotional purposes without my being informed or asked. I recently received a request to use one of my images for Poser advertising. I found this to be correct and have approved all of the pictures of me that appear here in this thread. It would be nice if Renderosity had a little more heart instead of commercial thinking.

Kalypso, I often wondered that as well. But I didn't have to wander far.....

Many of the ones I post here and in other threads are in my gallery, but not all of them obviously. For example, I don't post explanations of how I do something in my galley. 

I personally think a lot of people stopped posting in the galleries after the daily limits were raised to the point that basically no one comments anymore.

The comments gave people a connection to the community, and that is basically gone now.

At one point I had stuff in my gallery with hundreds of comments. 

Then someone deleted my gallery, the entire thing. Years of my gallery, completely gone. Close to 10 years of posts....

I stopped posting in the galleries here for years because of that, and stayed in the forums I ran. Can anyone imagine why I choose to stop participating?

Then I started participating after being asked to do so again. I don't remember who asked me that time. I was the lead moderator at Runtime then. Possibly Kristi...

Then it happened again, accept it was a selective deletion over a change in policy.... And I was attacked in the forum I ran, by that very person....

Later, I got a few apologies for it, stating they didn't realize who I was.... Why would that have even mattered? Who knows.....

None of those people are here anymore..... Even if they were, it still would not matter to some. People have their own reasons why they don't post anymore.

I had a very good reason not to post them here for years. And yes, I know exactly who did it, and why they claimed to do so..... Both times....

They took pride in making sure I knew why, in a different forum...

So now you don't have to wonder my gallery is so small now.... And you may wish you had not wondered....

I came back to posting in the forums here because I was asked to help others in the forums again... Jenn asked me, and I did it for her because she asked me.

There was going to be something similar to the program at Runtime for people that actually helped other people...

Ambassadors. But that didn't pan out.... I don't even think that forum is still here.

But here I am, still trying to help Poser, the people with questions, etc.

I have even started making content again.

If those that did this to me years ago out of spite, still lurk here. It didn't work so well now, did it...... I am still here, and you are not....

I didn't even have to remove you by your own actions, you did it to yourselves without any external help.....

Just to clarify, I have no issues with the present people running the forum here. What happened was long in the past. But it is worth bringing up, so it is not repeated.

And I no longer run forums, for people to realize who I am............... That still baffles me.......

I have deleted my galleries with all the images in them. Renderosity doesn't allow uploading many pictures (which I happen to have) at once. And nudity also seems to be defined differently everywhere, in the USA differently than in Germany! I then received warning and unfriendly emails. (A nipple was visible?!??.) Contents of the galleries have been deleted by someone...! Thanks..  Apparently I declared the pictures wrong. OK, I can understand that it is difficult to label the pictures correctly. For me personally, renderosity is a bit too much uhhh... monastery-like??? However, to avoid trouble, I'll refrain from creating galleries on Renderosity. It is better to publish the pictures on other websites. That was also the reason why I changed my name again at Renderosity.

Cooool, looks great. I would have the matching drinking glasses ... somewhere on the previous pages of this forum.

Good suggestion, but the glasses wouldn't normally be stored with the bottles.  For your suggestion, a couple of bottles on a table with some glasses awaiting might be a slightly better pose.

That's just me nit-picking, though.  Sorry.
