I'd have to try to do it without the grouper utility, but I bet I could come up with an example using the eyelashes (which is the biggest PITA normally). I personally use the Grouper utility because I like having less object, but I can see not wanting to use it. Give me a few minutes and I will fire up the programs and see about transmapping without Grouper using the concepts I learned. JDexter

Well I use the grouper tutorial now (it made such a difference) but I don't know of any other tutorial like it. Basically if you put a transmap in the trans section of the shader you are working with, there will still be artifacts, so by following it through like the grouper tutorial says, and use the transmap applied over the entire layer panametrically, it masks out the transparent areas, thus removing the artifacts. Once I got used to the concept of what the grouper tutorial was doing, it has been very easy to replicate. I love using grouper also because it cuts down on the number of objects, which is a real boon for me since I tend to do multi-figure scenes and each character had way too many pieces (just the fingers and toes alone made up 60 objects) I hope that is of some help. It really works great when you get the hang of it. JDexter

Well, I pre-ordered it, even though there is no release date (never done that before) Be careful when you order though, something wonky is up with the site. If you create a new user account, it drops your order out of the cart, luckily it took the serial # again when I went through and actually was able to order it. Also at one time during the process the shopping cart on the upper left said I had an e version of propack in the cart. But it is ordered according to the receipt, so I am hoping there won't be any issues. So, when is the release date? I can't wait! JDexter

I found them, they are in the Poses list. It say Mat Millenium (There are 2 together on my machine, probably the baby as well) You can't read the whole line. But it is there, and enormous. JDexter P.S. Incredible. What a great product!

Yeah, it's a great place. Just re-upped my subscription. Probably the first pay site for anything I have been totally satisfied with. The return on investment is definitly great. Plus they are nice, what more could you want? JDexter

Actually, What Quixote meant was use Steph for your teenaged boy. She came from a male mesh, and young boys tend to look a little less manly. Remember, the Millenium boys are from Vicki's mesh. Sounds like Steph really might fit the bill for what you want. JDexter

Don't knock camping for anything, you meet a lot of nice people and end up making friends along the way. And it is a very young thing to do, and considering I'm not actually young anymore, it makes me feel young and carefree. JDexter

I don't know about that, when Everquest had it's expansion, and Dark Age of Camelot was released, the people camping outside the local software stores was amazing. And yes, someone did book a bus full of people for the trip to the distributers so they could get it as soon as it was released. It's actually kinda fun camping the release of new software, sometimes mor fun thatn the software itself ;) JDexter

THank you Patrick for the link to the Grouper/Poser tutorial. This works so much better for me on the hair than any method I was using before! I am very grateful! I need to send off an email of thanks to Craig as well for the great information and program. JDexter
