Chat room is always empty. And no offense, but suggesting doing that is like telling folks in a mall or gallery or museum or any other public place that are visiting or browsing and having a good time while doing what they are doing, and quite harmlessly, to go elsewhere to and do it. Why does this place insist upon burning up the very fuel that create it and managed to grow it? You see any other place online like this grow in droves and as busy? Not by a longshot! And why is that? Not because of all the great ads or sales or decor, but because a lot of folks once got together here and felt comfortable, and kept getting together, and grew together, and everything else followed along. I think we keep forgetting that the people came first here, and it's the people that make it happen. Nothing wrong with having couches and a bit of music and fun and even a few clowns once in a while to make the sun shine a bit. Ever see what happens on highways and roads when there is an accident or even someone changing a tire? It's not the accident that causes traffic, it's all the folks slowing down to look at what is happening. When you slow doqwn to look, you see other things you normally would not see or care about. That is what has happened here many times and has brought a lot of traffic here, many times and most probably sales too. Why bite the hand that feeds? Broody stonefaces that may be far too serious don't sell or attract, they don't even make balloon animals! If you take away the downtown entertainment and comfort, lots of folks wouldn't go there anymore, no matter how nice or resourceful or how much shopping there may be. Besides, there's always TurboSquid! Lol, just kidding while it's still okay to kid.

Well I happen to like roots, but not beer.
Does that make me odd?
So the chicken came first huh?
But where did it hatch from then?
That just doesn't make sense?
Coffee I like too, especially in the mornings.
Michael Jackson was black??
Really???
Camp cupcake, lol, that's cute!

Well didn't I almost pee myself with reading this, from the shock. Guess I won't be able to mention this kind of reaction very soon. When I first joined Render I felt it is a wonderful art site and a friendly place to yak with folks too, or to just come and read about other folks that are like much like me, creative, curious and interested in art and the people behind it and they're lives and ways too. Soon found other things in common, and it was kind of wonderful to pan out across the unlimited internet world and meet other forum squatters with talents and ideas and realize they were people too, just by yakking about everything. Art and artists are not just about programs, or galleries, or materials, or techniques or all that, but also about the actual people and their characters and interactions and relations. Guess this will kind of take the toilet out of any thread, and yet we all have to go there eventually, whether we predent we don't go or not, we are all human and so we react as humans unless we are in banks. I went to the bank today, lined up like everybody else in the world that decided to hang out in the bank today, looked around at all the ads and miserable stone faces of the clients and customers and investors and tellers who hardly said a word and suddenly someone started to whisper too loud and was immediatly gawked at by a stern security guard who also seemed like he was bored and would rather be somewhere else, just like everybody else in that bank that goes to there, does what they have to do, and leaves, wondering just how much time went by from having to feel like programmed, regimented cattle lined up to for weeding. Even worse when you have to pee, the wait is too long as it is, lol! Why does the soul of every place have to disappear nowadays? Even Wal-Mart has a greeter, will give em credit for that, although they could maybe have some younger ones that can talk about more stuff than just their athritis and whether they had a bowel movement yesterday.

"Why would there be anything bad with that (or with nude images either)?" Nothing at all whatsoever if they aren't suggestively very, very young to way too young. If this forum is being kept clean of this suggestive stuff then should the ad banners and other areas not also be included? "And the thread is gettin' ugly again...!" It's only ugly if you let it get ugly. Still waiting for my BLT combo.

Can we talk some more about whether toilet seats should be left up or down?? How about bananas? Should they be peeled starting from the stem side or the flat side? Is there a right way? What came first, the chicken or the egg? No one really had an answer to that yet? How about some news? Hear about all those elephants that got loose and went on a rampage in some fair restaurant? Brad Pitt and Angelina Joline are dating!! Michael Jackson is still in hot water! What about gay Marriages, is it a dead issue in the U.S.? Saw a preview of a movie that looks promising, being a sci-fi nut. It's a remake of H.G.Wells "War of the Worlds" scheduled to be released this summer starring Tom Cruise, and he looks good, and so does the movie!!

Lol! Oh c'mon, lighten up! I'm not fat, at least not by society standards, yet sometimes I feel FAT just by shopping or by what advertising tries to shove on me. I certainly don't take offense to some people feeling bad about their weight, in fact, I truly feel with them. I might even be considered skinny, give and take a few pounds, and it takes a lot to stay that way too. My point is that if plain skinny me can be made to feel fat or overweight by society and the fashion trends, can you imagine how a 300 pound woman will be made to feel these days?!! Awful, just damn AWFUL!!! When I try on clothes, or friends I have that are even thinner than me try on clothes, and size large is too tight, then something is just very wrong! Then we look around at the ultra thin sales girls and realize we're just in Oz!! There's a lot more of us middle aged ladies around today, skinny, a few extra pounds, or bigger, than there is young and still growing, and chances are we have lots more extra money to spend on clothes, so why cater so much more to the ultra thin folks?? Why not be more consistant or realistic? Why try and force or push us to wear anime clothes? It's like shoe stores carrying nothing but ultra high heels for women, like walking on stilts, come to think of it, I think there's some of those too. Sure they're sexy and look good on the dance floor or up in the air, but what if we just want to walk comfortably?? Stepford wives anyone??

"Whats the hell's On Topic in a Community Forum, anyway?" Good point! A community forum is supposed to be for the community the forum has developed and could be about pretty well anything and especially about stuff that don't suit or wouldn't make sense posted in the other forums that are specific. Communi-cation,Communi-ty, pretty close words.

One would think? Why do we have to walk on eggshells here with everything we might post or say or talk about? People are commuicating, may not always be about art specific or poser or the hot 20 but hey, folks are talking and even having some fun, which creates traffic and membership confidence and good karma. Okay sometimes there is bad crap too, you get that in every forum, specific or not, but it seems this here is directed at this forum just because some members are able to commuicate with very little friction or spite about anything and everything. So what's wrong with that?? Can't we live in this forum anymore without somebody smacking us abou for no reason or griping about ugly warts even when they're not even there?! Lighten up a bit please. We are people, personalities and characters behind the membership, allow us to express a bit of ourselves, let us breath! There's plenty of formal stuff here, which is great, but can't we just be members too?

Society needs to get real! Perhaps if women started demanding men all be firefighter and chippendale types or they can just date their beers and couches, things might change? Problem is, to make things worse, those guys that are usually well built and the way we like them are usually already dating each other!! You know what gets me down? I go to some of these fashion places and don't even look at the small sizes, but the large and even extra large sizes are like a small size in other places!! Go figure?? Why are sizes different, and on a smaller scale far too often?! At least make the clothes sizes the SAME everywhere so we have a chance!!! Sometimes I think the fashion folks are trying to make women feel even WORSE by making the sizes smaller than they are supposed to be, otherwise, why do they do this constantly?? Why is one stores size large like another stores size small??? I guess as long as skinny women buy this 'undersized' stuff in droves and oversized women will squeeze themselves into this stuff and choke themselves all day, the market isn't going to change anytime soon.

Some guys claim they can't sit down to pee because their personal pride will get dunked or worse, flushed! I think most guys well overdo their size. Most of them probably can't find it sitting down and get scared, lol!

Here's a link to cheer you up. We may all be getting one of these pretty soon. Get yours while you can, lol!Thread: OT - CDC says that the dangers of being overweight are overstated | Forum: Community Center
Oh your not alone. Lots of my friends starve themselves or are on veggie diets. Been there, doe that! I find women either just give up and pretend their skinny or get really depressed, or are constantly miserable dieting and getting nowhere. I think expectations are too high and the normal scale is just too far off on the too skinny side! Us baby boomers have all gained weight due to our metabolism slowing down or various health reasons and are having a hard time realizing we can't be the twenty year old anime girls wearing mini schoolgirl outfits that many men seem to drool over today. What these men don't understand is that most of them also have beer guts, spare tires and fatso legs, and if we all looked that sexy we wouldn't want them anyways, we'd go after the well built hunks too!

Even normally skinny people are getting fed up with the standards handed out by the general public. ASds and TV and Hollywood in general and especially fashion stores think we have to be toothpicks and have storky legs. A little bit of healthy extra weight doesn't hurt. What I can never understand is, you actually do see huge, big obese women wearing tight clothes, halter tops, short skirts and even really short shorts like they haven't a care in the world, meanwhile those that are in-between are paranoid to even wear shorts or skirts for fear of looking flabby or awful??! Men too, you see guys wear the tightest shirts with their pot bellies bouncing and jiggling about, yet they will wear phony wigs that look like squirrels nests on their heads. And don't get me started on electricians pants or those trousers that hang so low in back they look like their butt is dragging on the floor. I swear some folks, men and women alike, do NOT see themselves in the mirror or have one heck of an imagination or just don't care!

Did you get too personal or direct your humor at at someone specific? See, now, that's probably why so many members would have clones, so they can clown around or be free and fruitful without getting their real membership into trouble and losing the respect, dignity, popularity and noteriety they may have and wish to keep here. Imagine a well liked hot twenty regular or AOM or MOM making faces or complaining or having a biased opinion or going "neener, neener" here on the forum boards?

As for bursting baldders, they say the bladder is the most stretchable organ in the human body, it would really have to blow up a LOT to burst and you would probably just pee yourself silly before that happened. Looks like if enough pay toilets happen, we may start looking at a new line of absorbant diapers for us all, lol!
