Hi, Vista Ultimate 64bit and Poser 7 sr3 here, works fine, only problem after sr3 updater, was video drivers yet again. Try switching preview rendering to SreeD, and accumulation buffer to software. I'm using nVidia but Ati also seems to cause problems for people.

Hi, I have a vss question, using vss2, I can't seem to control the color of the eyelashes in the millenium figures, ie, they're always black. What's curious, is that the shader seems to ignore this texture zone, adding no special nodes, but the diffuse color for the eyelashes always renders black regardless of what actual color is present. I understand the standard diffuse is shut off, so to speak, for the textures using the special nodes, but with the eyelashes also?

Hi, I have P7 running under Vista Ultimate 32 bit, and it runs fine. On a few occasions where there was a quick crash, the culprit was always the video drivers to blame and Vista rolling back the driver to an earlier 'buggy' version without asking. I have an nVidia 8500 GT and the lastest drivers for Vista are Microsoft certified and work well with Poser. I hopt this helps in some way.

Hi, you'll have to work with the uv templates supplied for the respective figure or a specialized program like Deep Paint 3D or Bodypaint which can automatically read the uvs from the obj file.

Hi, the captain exists for M3 as well, also, you might want to check out the realistic skin shaders for various male figures sold here at Renderosity. These shaders will put in some added realism which is what I think your talking about.
