Applause, Doug. An excellent statement. Looking foward to what you shall do with the Victoria model. I'll be really impressed if your team can make the existing P4 clothing conform! That really would be worth a hundred bucks! Thanks for messaging we humble Application Addicts. I hope that the Zygote team will eventually become the distributors for Poser 5! I'll bug on about the pricing because I'm a South Walian with short arms and deep pockets. If I drop a penny, it hits me on the back of the head as I bend down to pick it up! Will Zygote ever establish a branch in the UK?

Let's hope Zygote might get P5. Ghost Effects do the coding legwork, so offers will probably be made to them. P4 is PRICEY over here, one hundred and eighty five quid, I have actually got mine from the states for 120 dollars, which works out at about 70 quid. RipOff Britain, or what!? Crazy. It's cheaper for Brits to get software from the States!

Doubtless 'Millenium' type upgrades and improvements will be incorporated into Poser Five. Anyone knows who will distribute P5, since Metacreations seem to be concentrating on Web Business?

Careful rescaling and cutting and pasting to a P3 or P4 template is one way to go. For muscles without skin, how about some of the anatomical atlases? Bound to be some useful colour medical illo's somewhere.

Pardon my British ignorance- what is a WIP? (I'll probably smack my forehead when you tell me!) Reduce the ambience on her purple cossy. It seems to be receding! Maybe a custom texture map for seams and insignia, as suggested above? Also, she needs a custom fizzog to give her a more individual look. Other than that, she's cool!

Yo, TeNoM. I've purchased Vic and it's a good model. It is VERY similar to Evolution 2 in it's joint designs (buttocks are separate, and the chest sections are divided just like Evolution 2 and the Poser male). It just needs more morphs to allow customising. Waiting might be a good idea. The problem being is that the price will probably go up whilst you wait. Although Zygote do frequently make 'holiday' offers on a lot of their products. The joint ranges are more than fixes. They are completely new! Knees, elbows, hands, even the neck have had an increase in polygon counts, and don't show so many of the ugly 'creasing' anomalies that need touching up. The BEST part about the figure, however, is it's FACE! It is incredibly detailed, and stands up to close-ups far better than a bog-standard face. The expression and phoneme range is vastly improved. It even has a furrowing brow! Some people have said that it seems a bit 'horsey'. I quite like that sort of girl, myself! Morph targets really are required, however. The P4 ones won't work. Facial expressions from previous facial and pose settings kind of work, with some tweaking. Save up and get Victoria. I think it IS worth it.

Try applying the same texture to the .3DS model instead. Poser 3 doesn't seem to like UV co-ordinates on .OBJ files. Have you upgraded to version 3.01?

Hi, guy. The eyes are quite good, but that chin needs pulling up. Get a jpeg of Ms. Anderson, use it as a background image in your Poser render window, and refer to that. Tweak to your heart's content. Wireframe view tends to help to get cheekbones, eye sockets, eye slants, eyebrows, jawlines and chins in the right place. Keep on Keepin'!

Ditto above, but you'll have to add your own wheels, if it's the one I've had from them before now.

Phew! Thanks a lot, Rob. It took some buggering about, but I've recovered it. Good tip about EditPad, too. It's a brilliant little prog, and dealt with my 10mb .cr2 no problem. Highly recommended to everyone else!
