There are ways! You can export .3ds or .0bj's and create the motion in 3dstudio using morphs. ( tedious ) There is also some software that I've seen mentioned in these forums that supposedly expidites the proccess. (It's the one you saw with the balerina). All of the posing would be done in Poser and static meshes would be used in 3ds. What aspects of the other packages are you looking to take advantage of? The better renderer? Better memory management? Just curious because I have dabbled with exporting to 3dstudio, but at present I am rendering in poser and compositing layers in discreet effect. Visque

I generally attach all props and clothes before posing. I do however believe that the conforming outfits will find their positions even if you pose first. Props are a pain to position after. Visque

Wait! Hold the Phone! If you render your output to .PSD it will contain the Alpha channel. If there is fog present in the scene it makes things semi-trans on that alpha. Combine these two techniques and you may get what you are looking for. Hope it helps, Visque

He also seems to be distributing images which were distributed with Max and, I assume,are owned by Discreet/Kinetix/Autodesk (house.jpg bundled w/Naomi.max). I'm unclear about their policy concerning the images, but I'll bet they would be interested in this guy. Oh, by the way the are a BIG international company. Someone may want to contact them. Visque

Could you create a camera in the location of the mirror, create a render and map it to the mirror surface? Then go back to your original camera and get the desired shot.? Visque

Texture maps and lighting contain the secrets. Check out some of the maps available over on the right of the page. As far as lighting goes... get a book about lighting for photography and apply the knowledge gained over to Poser. Good Luck, Visque

I think that if you apply a trans map (Black) to the eyebrows and set the Min and Max settings to 100% the brows should disappear in your render. Hope this helps, Visque
