Thread: INJectors... How to use? | Forum: DAZ|Studio
If you have Vic 4.1 you need to run a script ta add these new morphs to the Vic 4.1 installation... when you install Vic 4.1 its ask to create a shortcut at your desktop called "Update Victoria 4.1"
All time that you buy a new morph group for Vic 4.1 its suposed that it runs this script at the end of the installation...

Thread: How do I reduce an object's polygons? | Forum: DAZ|Studio
Try Blender to do that, maybe it can do this better... I am converting some Lightwave work to OBJ format and it preservs the surfaces information after converte... maybe you can make the poly reduction in Blender and get a better result.

Thread: How do I reduce an object's polygons? | Forum: DAZ|Studio
Hi Derekhhh
There are some problem in reducing polygons this way. Almost all information about UV and surfaces are stored based in the point location data, so when you reduce you will finish with a new object that will need to be cut in pieces and rigged in Poser again. Other problem is the morphs, if you delete one little point they will not work anymore. The good way is use reduced resolution ready content like Vic3 has...but again the morphs dont work for her.
The good way to use large poly count is use a wireframe view to work... or less then this: box.

Thread: Windows Vista and DAZ STUDIO - Help! | Forum: DAZ|Studio
No problem here, DS runs better in Vista then in XP.
The problems looks like video drive. If you use video borad from NVidia take care with the last drive because it cont use OpenGL 2.1
Openup DS and go to menu Help / About Your Video Card and looks what is the OpenGL version.
If you use a FX5XXX series from NVIdia is time to upgrade because NVidia decided to not support this chipset anymore... You still can use it with internal Vista drive but you cant get OpenGL 2.1 with this drive. I am using the drive version 158.18

Thread: Free DAZ millenium dragon textures? | Forum: DAZ|Studio
Unzip and look at what you get... whats is inside unziped Runtime goes inside your Poser Runtime. Its a good idea to unzip to a temp place and only after that copy the files to the final location.

Foxy you need to download all files so you can use the textures. Put all Unziped files under your Runtime folder so Poser can read them.

Thread: Trouble loading Morphs! | Forum: DAZ|Studio
Well, Vic 4.1 works a little diferent from his sister 4.0
Now the morphs are all applyied to the CR2 file using a little software that do this at the end of the installation, so you dont need to load the morphs after load Vic 4.1
Look at thios FAQ about Vic 4.1 in daz site:

Thread: Re-loading DAZ and importing old files? | Forum: DAZ|Studio
The poroblem is that DS dont save all thing in the scene...you need to instal all your stuff again so you can use the scenes again. The scenes work loading the installed stuff from your computer.

Hey sparkleav, theres an option in Daz Studio to collect the maps
This way it will create the surface texture information and export the maps for you to a new folder. You can resize the images before import to Vue. I think that another way is to create your scene in Poser and save as a pz3 file, I think that Vue can load it too without more problems.

Export as OBJ (wavefront format) in DazStudio and import to Vue... Maybe you will have to fix alpha channels in Vue.

Hey Foxy, you can use PDO3DExplorer (even the free version) to find the link structure for your content folders. After click in a proper, character or other thing it will show you the location for the files linked to it.
