It's not the library pref file. The folders show up, but not the content.

Okay, I've bombed through 26 pages of this thread hoping to find an answer, but it looks like I'm the only one having this problem . . . I've downloaded the demo version, along with Biscuit's video tutorial (Thank you!!!). I've followed along, step by step, but I get an "out of memory" error when I try to set up hair on V4. I have 16 GB of RAM on this machine, so I don't see how I can be running out of memory.
Also, I've been reading about presets through this thread. There are NO presets available in the pull-down menus. Is that feature only available in the full version?
Please advise.

I looked at the videos and this is truly amazing . Will I be able to buy it if I am using apple pro OSX 10.9.5. I use daz and mainly for animation . You must be a genius !! thanks
There is a bridge for DS, but I'm not sure it works on mac. Please ask Gérald in the VWD forum. He is pretty quick to respond.
