I just saw the post from her brother on FB. I can't believe she is gone. My condolences to her loved ones. I just buried my grandmother a week ago, so I certainly can empathise with the loss.

I hear it alot... Which is why promised hardware is still sitting in a box in my office after close to 2 months after being delivered. IT even went so far as to image the new systems and they have each of the senior Rep's names on it. They are finally integrating one of our programs into the same database. We have been working in 2 seperate scheduling apps since 4/2011.

There's no heat... But the search process has been frustrating the everloving hades out of me for the longest time. Granted there are worse ones, but still.

Ugh... This is worse than the previous setup.
And bad for business to roll out a temporary change that makes it impossible to search for something that you want.
I want to search for clothing specific for V4 in the Sci-fi and Fantasy catagories. This is just a deterent to me making any sort of purchases...

Worse case scenrio, head over to Renderotica and ask for help in the store forum. Even if the vendor is not around, perhaps an admin there will be able to help you.

Smith Micro is first and foremost a software company, not a content provider. Content Paradise is a brokerage like (but not on the same level) as Rendo.
With one key exception. Prior to the Smith Micro buyout of E-Frontier USA, They accepted entire stores. RDNA and Renderosity were linked in at one time. Now you see smaller brokerages like DDU and individual merchants.
I don't see Smith Micro investing all that much into content. Maybe to support the Latest Poser release, but even then we haven't seen as much innovation from them since Poser 7.
Also keep in mind that any innovation in Poser lately have been from the inclusion of Vendors such as Netherworks Studios, LittleFox, Sixus1, Vanishing Point, etc...
I would look to vendors such as those list above (and others) for more innovations. As for Genesis, jury is going to remain out for the time being.

Yeah, and the pathways is an easy fix on the outside.
It's the software issue that is the aggravating part.

No to both. And I have Deep search specified in my Prefs.
My main Hard drive is the 300gb internal. The Seagate is an External and Poser plus my runtime is installed there at I:Poser. The Runtime is in the main Poser runtime tree from there. I don't use external runtimes either. The Free Agent allows me to use Poser on any computer. I have 3-4 external Hard Drives I use on this machine.
This behavior only occurs when Poser needs to find a file upon loading a poser file from the library.

The easiest way is to turn off ground shadows.
In Poser go to
Display Pull-Down > Ground shadows
Selecting this menu item with turn it off as it is on by default.
