Pumeco, also, you are too emotionally intertwined with these forums. I was once like this too. Forget about the demeaning "critics". There will always be "critics", but they spend their lives in cynicism, constantly fault-finding, never enjoying life. Release PR, PRX, HB and SB, and ignore those who don't like it. Listen to constructive critiques, your user base, and improve. Perhaps Bryce 6 will further enable you to create some interesting lighting advancements. Just don't let a few naysayers crush your spirit. God bless, Ben
Thread: PRO-RENDER -DERAILED- | Forum: Bryce
Pumeco, You are a very detail oriented person. Not everyone here is like that, and make remarks - some rude - without thinking or having an open mind. If you allow PR to be derailed, then they are defeating you. I for one am very interested in Pro Render, and hope you hurry up and crank it out. Some will be mean but I've seen people who didn't like the Matrix Reloaded, Matrix Revolutions . They're not perfect, but those are very cool movies. The Passion of the Christ is a classical painting in motion, and yet some still tried to criticize it - mostly because the Subject is the most controversial Person in history. Release Pro-Render, Pro-Render Xtreme, Hair Base and Skin Base. If people don't like it, they can whine and cry, but you must be happy for your accomplishment. Don't let them defeat you. I guess the answer would be a review crew independant of R'osity, yet reviewing for them. In any case, I guess it is a good, yet not feasible for many reasons. But it sure would be a popular 3D website (i.e. there is a market for it, critical depth is filling it, but I would like more reviews and an across the board critical look, with scores, i.e. 1 - 10, with .5 increments allowed! Ben

Yes, akin to reviews games get in magazines like Electronic Gaming Magazine, with scores and everything.

I'm trying to get a Dell XPS, 2GB of RAM, and the ATI RADEON 9800 PRO. Y'all won't believe this, but my dad ordered Windows XP, and the company sent him 15 ATI RADEON 9700 cards (!). This was about 6 months ago, and my dad has repeatedly tried to contact them, and talked with several guys, but no one seems interested in helping at the company. So we have them here, sitting in a box, collecting dust! My dad gave one away though. I'm afraid to give them away, because as soon as we give the last one away, that company will call, and say, "OK, we're ready for our cards now." And also, I don't think they're really ours to give away. But I guess that company is never going call us back. Phew. Ben

I'm actually looking for the texture (face and body). It is a necessity for my motion picture, as this is a major character in my story - and quite frankly, there is no texture that conveys such a shocking impression. The pic above is not the character of the move, just a render. You do have it!!! Yee-haw! I'm in no hurry. I won't be doing the actual production until I get my new computer, which probably will be in December, but I would like to recover this file sometime soon. The 13th of September, or shortly after will be just fine, and I do thank you for your assitance! =-) If and when I complete the movie, SpiritBlade, I will send you a free DVD or VHS, as I am indebted to you. Perhaps Catharina would also be interested in retriving her creation. I will contact you then, thanks friend! Ben

This one was different. He had pale, white skin, and black lighting looking textures below the eyes. Thanks! Ben
