Great photography, esp. for their pastel colors..! The "dolly" picture is very beautiful and the idea of "Zen with Stones" is great..!

1st and the 4th are the most effective as photographs, IMHO... The pattern of the cypress grove in the first and the silhouetted trunks with the great graphic dominance of the one at the left 1/3 are making these photos my favourites in this serial. Still, the nature that you have the chance to witness is breathtaking, and this is obvious in every pic..!

This is......mayhem..!!

I mean, 'mayhem' is the first word that came to my mind though I know that it may not be the suitable word to use with the '4th of July' celebrations of your nation...

Maybe the immense scales of the area and the crowd participating for such a fireworks show, and maybe the resemblence of this pic with some of the 'Zdzislaw Beksinski' pictures made me think so...
...A mayhem..!

I remember the peacock feather serial of yours very clearly: they were strikingly beautiful..! This one here also is a beautiful one, yet the "in-picture framing" looks quite bright and dominant over the delicate feathers, IMHO...

The instant I saw the first one, I thought that it was a detail from the "Guggenheim Museum, Bilbao" by Frank O. Gehry... I liked all the pics a lot: they're very fine abstracts with lots of reflected deformations..! All I would ask is to be able to see a general view of the building for I really am curious about it... ...And also, it would have been fine to see more of the pinkish-orange reflections (embedded in the dark reflections) in the 3rd one. :-)

This looks wild..!! Off-set colors work really well sometimes, and this photo is one of them, IMHO. But, again IMHO, the frame of the pic needs a little touch... Is there other shots making a series with this one..? If so, I really would like to see them... :-)

Thanks for the comments (both in gallery and here), dear people..! :-)

Dear Star, yes, I have access to a drum scanner, but just through a local professional photo lab... :-(
And the prices for film scanning with that device are rather costly here... :-((
Still, as I cannot get good performance from my flatbed for scanning films, I prefer this lab that I'm in rather good terms with.
With a little friendly bargain, they offer some affordable prices.
Yet, I'm still and desperately longing for a personal film scanner..!
