LOL... Thanks, Yewston... I never noticed that little setting in the options... That cleared it right up. As to the IE vs Firefox thing. For me the problem lies in that The required number and size of updates is far larger for IE.. THe critical threats seem targetted specifically, and I happen to like "Tabbed Browsing". But seriously... I have dialup, not broadband. I can no longer update windows due to the fact that the SP2 Disk MS sent me is bad and hangs during system reinstalls...and DLing it from WinUpd is out of the question. Finally, I just decided to hang it all up with XP and wait for the next bug-ridden release from Redmond. Until then, I will remain with Firefox and now I can once more enjoy visiting and seeing what people have provided to enhance my gooey rendering pleasure.. Thanks, all for the quick response and -please- don't turn this into a flame war, ok? Play nice and have fun! Starlok
Thread: Need help transferring Parameter limits | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Ahhh! I see I've managed to garble my communications... MICS is the Modern Interiors Construction Set. It's basically wall, window, floor, ceiling, and door figures like any of the other Construction Sets you've seen. Since the Sections are individual figures rather than props (for animation purposes I guess) the Use Limits Function has to be turned on so that doors and windows function correctly. My problem is that All of the DAZ figures have some VERY restrictive limits. If I turn Limits on, any poses (like Schlabber and Digital Intox) which are made with limits off do NOT work. I've since gone ahead and re-did all the Joint Limits Manually (You know... Double-click on the parameter Dial in question and edit the fields that pop up...) But for future reference,I was hoping there might be something similar to a MAT pose or MORph INJection that could accomplish the same thing... Thanks, though! Starlok

Ummm... Slight Problem with the FreeStuff MatPoseEditor. I Keep trying to D/L it, and it seems to be corrupted. Does anyone know of an off-site host that has an Uncorrupted version? I'd like to try that before bothering the creator personally... (I'd much rather bother YOU guys IMpersonally!)

Thanks, guys... Unfortunately, I haven't got the money to buy Daz's Textures... I did find someone's V3 Character that had some pretty good ones, I just wasn't sure if it had them before I DL'd it. On a Dial-up, a 6+ MB DL on the "Chance" of it having Brow Transmaps is a little hard to take. As far as www.Big-i.com, I'll have to check it out. Thanks again! TTFN

Great! Thanks! Now if something like that were possible with Free Stuff. Although I understand that with the new screening you guys are doing with Free Stuff Uploads, you don't need even more work... Just a V3 category for all the tex's, transmaps, and such in one place would be great! Just my $.02...

Actually, I do...Michael Brow+Lash...Since It DL'd as a jpg rather than a zip, I can't tell you who made it, but it's in Free Stuff. I'm just happy I have "Almost" all the millenium figures now. I just need to get the Mil Girls.

Sorry, I guess the header over the shoes (see below, Cut and Pasted) refers to the update it originally came from. Not when it was offered for free. "Update #48: March 30th 2003 You can check out what's available so far on the members area (banners free), by following the SubsPreview link at the left navigation bar This week's FREE model is a Sports shoes for all the millennium family except the PS kids"

Well, I just signed back on (had to re download all my favorites due to computer upgrade/scr#$@-up) and the only file I've had a problem with is the Office Scene. All the orther scenes/props I've had no problems with. As far as their freestuff updates, the Shoes seem to be from March, but their new free textures are from 5/11/03. It just might be that they're on vacation... I mean they DO het those don't they?
Thread: Would it be possible to...? | Forum: MarketPlace Customers
Okay, I did that, I just didn't think it was a personal setting because Other sites just went directly to the save as dialog when I right click on it. It doesn't accept a Right-Click on the download button on the My Purchases page. This should do the trick. I'll try it on my next purchase. Thanks for the quick response! Starlok

Actually, I just went to XP and use both AOL's Browser AND IExplorer. It doesn't ask me anything. The status bar at the bottom of the Explorer Window just says Downloading HTTP://...etc...etc. As soon as I click anything else off the window, the message goes away and I'm stuck just waiting for the Windows Explorer window to open at the end of the DL process so I can manipulate the ZIP File.
