thanks for the info, i knew about the alpha plane, buts its not the real thing like poser, or cinema, they have that ability to make a static picture background to work with, was wondering if that option was in vue anywhere

no, in poser you can throw a picture as the background, then take the ground plane and angle it with the picture, and adjust lighting on the character to match the scene, I was just wondering if thats possible in bryce, but i dont think it is, without actually making a 2d object model, which in that case wouldnt work well at all.

yea, i know about the 2d picture, i was just hoping in had the same option as like...poser did, then you could adjust the shadow on the ground plane to make it look like it was sitting on the picture you put in the background
