I have it on my hyperthreading processor running at 3 GHz. Make sure you choose 4 threads instead of 2.

It is funky how it renders though. Looks like the top half of the image is rendered on one processor and the bottom half on the other processor. 4 threads do speed up times.

Wonder what it would do in a quad processor system? :tongue1:

OK, thanks, but how do you link P7 to the P6 Runtime. I have never had to do this before so I want to get it right and I am sure it is simple and staring me in the face! :biggrin:

I am talking about "raunchy" stuff. Renderotica does not have that kind of animations; not for Mike, Dave or Freak at least. I will try the other sites mentioned here. Anymore sites would be welcome.

I have the Unimesh Realism Kit and I play around with the lights. I tend to use preset lights from HyperReal and Syd Ravens lights that she did for ApolloMax. Any help? Tankred

Well, to put in my $0.02 worth in I do not think that M3 is too femminie. Just take a look at your local gay bar (if you frequent those places. I do!) and you will see MANY feminine guys there! If you read how M3 came about is is because of their new UNIMESH that they make into V3 and M3. My opinion is that some of the problems that we are seeing are from that base mesh. I also think that most of what the complaint is here is that DAZ needs to rethink the Unimesh idea. Granted, it takes less time making a model from a known starting point, but I think that you can't beat making a completely new model from the ground up. All in all, I like M3. V3 as a male really did not do anything for me. I have her, but I was not too thrilled with the male morphs. Well, I can only hope that SOMEONE will do some penis morphs. PDXJIMS: I would like to see some foreskin and penis morphs too. Love to all, Tankred

I would like to see that too. I have P4 3.06 Intel that does hyperthreading, 512 DDR PC2100, 2 120GB drives and a fairly fast system board from Albitron. Even with the hyperthreading Poser 5 does not even hit the second processor at all. Jim, you better watch out with that RAID 0. You could loose everything. I hope that you have a good backup. Sorry, that is my IBM customer support side coming out! :-)

It is GREAT. A few things. Looks like the fingernails are sunk in the tips of the fingers. Are they supposed to be that way? Everything is too symetrical. Almost NOTHING is Nature is symetrical. This is a real pet peve or mine! :-) Try to offset one side or the other. Try to use different gaping holes, sizes, coloures, textures, try to see if you can make some of the internal organs showing, etc. Just trying to help, Tankred

I got the program and in stalled the base Poser 5. I then tried to run the Figure updates and it said that it could not update anything. I went ahead ad ran the SR 2.1 and that updated fine. I then tried the Figure updater again and it would not update anything again. I was rebooting between each successful installation. Any advice on this? P5 seems to be running fine and I REALLY like it so far. It is going to take some getting used to. Should I also load the Content CD? Tankred

William, The models that DAZ makes are their intellectual property. They hold that copywright. You do not. I can understand that you make a character and want to share it, but if you use the original morphs to make your own, how ever small, it is still a violation. I would really hate for you to be sued by DAZ, but that is the way that you are going if you continue. Anton has responded to you thru here. He has told you what you need to do. I would take his advice and let the subject drop.
