If your using magnets to make the morphs, don't neglect to set the magnet effect any other body pats in the magnet's zone, and spaun a morph for thatr part, too.
You can then make a Full Body morh combining the morphs, or just set the dials to the same number.
Thread: How to remove a group from a .cr2 file? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I use Poser File Editor (which, oddly enough, I bough here) almost exclusively these days. It is a great program, which doesn't ever make bad CR2s (which a lot of the more automated programs will, if you start doing non-normal stuff).
I used to use John Stalling's great program, but it can't handle the big CR2s we have these days.
I'll fill you in on what you have to do to remove a group properly if you ask me at Poser Pros. ;-)

V4 has an JCM in her elbow (called, oddly enough, JCMelbowBend) that you really have to match in the clothing.

Thread: Help me out! What is YOUR monitor Resolution? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I hate to bring this up, but all of you guys who are running 1280 x 1024 resolution know you are running a non-square resolution, right?
That assumes your monitor has the conventional (and industry standard) non-widescreen 4:3 ratio.
What? What is Jim talking about?
If your monitor's aspect ratio isn't matched by the pixel aspect ratio, the pixels aren't square.
So what, you say? Well, an example of the problem this causes- Your people are going to be fatter or thinner than intended (and the fat ones become thin when they go horizontal, and so on.
Yeah, it is only about 6 1/2%, but I can notice it, and when they go horizontal the difference doubles, to 13%.
So, if you have a 4:3 monitor and your graphic card can do it, 1280 x 960 is better than 1280 x 1024. Unless you adjust the monitor's display width and height to match YOUR aspect ratio (but I always set that to max).
640 x 480, 800 x 600, 1024 x 768, 1280 x 960, 1600 x 1200, 1920 x 1440 are square ratios.
Just so you know. ;-)
Maybe Dr. Geep could explain this better...
Oh, I run 1280 x 960 x 2 monitors, effectively 2560 x 960, BTW.
Thread: Looks like Poser 4 support is being abandoned | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - I'm one of those who has finally dropped Poser 4 support and I had been a BIG advocate for not doing so. It was time to move forward.
Yeah, me too!
But eventually, it is just time to move on. One of the BIG advantages of P5+ and DS that is seldom mentioned anymore is you can have stacked libraries. No more scrolling through the Pose folder for 5 minutes to find something!
Oh, and as to the DPI, as has been already mentioned, DPI is meaningless on the computer, it only refers to printing on paper. The reason it shows up in Word is beacuse the program is emulating paper. PPP (pixels per inch) on the computer can vary greatly too, my 21" monitor will run 640 x 480 all the way to 2048 x 1536 resolution, a range from 41 to 132 PPI.
Thread: Thumbnails at Daz site | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
DAZ's graphics often start to go away when I run IE 6.
After awhile I just get text and box frames.
Doesn't happen when I run Mozilla Firefox.
I have no idea what causes it, but I've only ever had it happen at DAZ.

Thank svdl!-
I never thought about that rotate part, but it make sense,
The scabbard pictures I have mostly show two rings to one side of the scabbard, one down about 3" and the other down another 4" or so. Each then connects to a short (2 or 3") strap. That is all they show, and I don't know if this is even for a belt scabbard or an over-the-shoulder one (I THINK the latter, though).
A really long sword wouldn't work too well from the belt, anyway, you would have Monty-Python kinda problems with it. ;-)
Thread: Glamorous Jessi Fantasy Archer - freebie in the making | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I was planning a BIG two handled sword to go with it, one of the hold ups is I don't know how the over-the-shoulder scabbards work on them, I can't find any good pictures.
Anyway, the shoes are sort of nifty, I thought, sort of Gladiator Wedgies.

I think she has pretty feet, BTW!
Thread: Saving joint parameters as pose | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Well, I used to do my high-heel morphs for figures like V3 by morphing the whole foot to put the toes in a different position, I'd then also supply a pose that turned this morph on AND move the JPs for the toes down to were the toes actually were.
It works fine in Poser, but in D/S the JP part doesn't work. DS only looks at JPs when the figure is loaded, it MIGHT be possable to resave (and reload) the figure after you ran my pose, but then you couldn't put the JPs back to flatfoot, either.
I don't do any joint setup in D/S, it took me years to get the Poser Joint Editor to do what I want, I'm not about to learn it again. ;-) I've never looked at any of the D/S add ons.
Thread: v4s feet | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Just bear in mind I sold the product, so I don't make anything on future sales.
I wanted to point out that the V4 Gladiator sandals at DAz have what I think is a nice set of feet morphs included, per the pic.
Thread: I should know this but... isolating full body morphs to one body part? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
There actually IS a dial, just it may be hidden.
Try using a CR2 editor to unhide it, it is a pretty simple change- look for the body part, then go into the channels for the morph you need, set hidden = 0 instead of 1.
Thread: Saving joint parameters as pose | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Ah, you can't use Joint Setting Poses in DAZ Studio.
They may run but nothing actually changes.
I've included a number of them with my sets, in the past, but after I found out about this I've had to figure different ways.
