That's Right. Poser won't put a map on a DXF file because it has UV coordinants. As Marque says, you could use Poser as an exporter and then map it in AVMapper or there are lots of free converter progs out there on the net.
Thread: Help with shadows | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Try selecting the properties for each light and turning the "Cast shadow" option on/off fo each one until you get the desired effect. Poser usually uses 4 lights and unless you're going for a multi shadow effect you could turn off all "cast shadows" except for one and get single shadows, then position that light so you get the shadows where you need them.

Hi! no remapping won't exactly work, since the legs are seprate. But the texture maps (3) are available at my site if you'd like to strip the mtl file off. I tried dkirk's problem and it worked fine for me, although I, currently do not have PP (wish I did). I can only assume that the problem would have something to do with the way PP exports OBJ files or the materials attached to them. The T-maps are in the STUFF section of my site.Thread: Setting it FREE! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL

Thread: HoverBugs! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
What are HoverBugs? Well, I think it would be something along the line of Robotic minion for evil poser dorks or mabey cute little robot pets for poser kids. There isn't a cockpit so I don't think vehicle applies here. But please feel free to program your own HoverBug to do what ever you need done. ;-)
