How about poser figures? Does it render faster? Can you get more figures into a scene?
Thanks!
Great preliminary pics Agiel!

Thanks for the help! I think I may have gotten a handle on what to do from your suggestions.

well...since i don't have any modelling software I was hoping for a way in VUE 5 Inf.
I can't seem to get it to look like an actual cave, plus I would like a suggestion on the rock material, which would be best, possibly someone can show me how to edit an existiing to something that looks real.

You could also come out with a pug expansion textures with a ear bend morph....Pugs and boston terriers are very similar in looks.

Just bought it and it is very cool...may replace my current idea for a trooper, depending on how much resources it loads from Poser to Vue - with only 3 conforming peices compared to 5 or 6 this should work out beautifully.
Regardless, great piece!!

Sorry to hear about your Vue5I experiences. I've had crashes, but with the latest patches I'm fine. Every frame my animations have been in Vue and though I've had some problems, the work arounds have been easy.

It says if you buy Vue 5 now you'll get Vue 6 for free. Will current V5I owners get the same treatment??

Network rendering sorry. I was replying because no one has mentioned that non-imported renderes are crashing as well. Seems that everyone has some sort of imported poser or other object imported and its crashing, i have all vue objects (for a scene background) and it's crashing...or was...I reinstalled my vue and used the old patch and will not update until this is cleared up.

It crashes for me even with nothing imported. My native vue scene goes down when i try to render.

little on the large size...this test render is using particle illusion to add some effects to the display console. So take a look at the dashboard of the cockpit and see how these effects add to the shot:

Thanks stonemason.
Here's a sloppy render using sector 15 as an underground command center
