It feels like I have been a parent forever, and it has only been 18 months! How easy is in design to learn in your opinion?

I got the "real job" too thanks to the missus at the time. I am now 33 years old, 2 girlfriends on from her and currently have a lovely fiance and child ;-)
Hopefully the real job for me, is not as far around that corner as I once thought.
Just going to have to be tight with the £'s and get the young one into it asap!

Lol that is too true! Brilliant I am going to go for Lynda. Are there any qualifications that can be obtained..or more of a working knowledge?
Great advice all round.
Does anyone know much about Adobe accreditation and whether it is worth going for?
Or any other accreditations, basically to prove I can get the job done?
With these two days available each week I intend to learn something and get the hell out of my job/chicken****outfit ;-)

Thanks it was intended to be as creepy as possible! I work in a sales job, which I am now cutting down to 3 days a week so that I can persue what I actually want to do (either animation or video editing) What type of courses are you doing? I am interested. Thinking of doing a flash course myself.

Damn straight if it does the job! I only really got this one for GPU rendering in Adobe premier, it is also useful for gaming lol

That is good going I had an 8800 once upon a time ;-) I am using 470 GTX, not a problem for it on maximum everything... a thing of beauty.

Thats on medium too! Cannot record screen at a good framerate when they are on Ultra. I do like using a controller for these types of game and have xbox contoller that I play it with. Battlefield 3 looks incredible on my machine ;-)

That seems high quality for a preview render! I used to use firefly and tthe poser 4 renderer back in Poser 7. Use Vue now for all poser rendering I find the quality much better and faster at rendering (unless there is a vue background, then it takes ages)
Great tip - Set render up before bed and put the settings up as far as you dare! then you can get a good 10 hours of rendertime in ;-)
