Wow! Someone's been busy.
Cracking idea. I used to own a fair few of these pedals. Moved on to "effects boards"... digital things. But they're just not the same.
Have they added sound to Poser 11?

Well, this is some exciting news!
Congrats on the new machine ;-)
Your non-canon Daleks should be canonised, in my opinion... they're marvelous!
Really must try to find some time to get my Poser head together again this Winter if these are on the event horizon ;-)

I mean, what a fantastically modelled and beautifully rigged piece of junk...
Thank you! :-)

Good to know those pesky forum ebots are still snarked...
I downloaded Renderman the other week. Wonder if Nerd3d will be contemplating giving some priority to looking at better native support for it? The terms of Renderman's public release seem quite hobbyist-frendly, for one thing, don't they? ...and if there were to be any kind of animation tools renaissance within Poser's functionality... well, could work well?

Lovely work BB.
I suppose a big problem with bronze is the huge diversity of patina finishes, altering both texture and colour, as well as levels of polish, one can see in real world examples, e.g. even just in terms of bronze statuettes like those in your sample render above...
However, the above looks like a very good generic bronze that I'm sure could be tweaked to emulate a good proportion of the examples of bronze I can find.
The technique from that previous pearlescent shader totally pays off here, eh?
The verdigris effect looks great. How does that work when the coverage / density of that layer is ramped up?

Ah, good to hear you're out the other side Sam. Hope the after effects are receding too... and the blood loss!
Take care and take it easy.
Looking forward to seeing the fruits of your labours soon as you're back up on your feet... well, y'know what I mean ;-)

Bill has a built in Who-dar. Â :) Â
As for the freebie/tutorial, it's a bit slow going at the moment. Â I'm in a lot of pain and finding it hard to concentrate. Â Going into the krankenhaus tomorrow for a bit of slice and dice; nowt serious, but enough to keep me away for a couple of days.
With luck and a strong wind I'll be back to it by the end of this week, and looking to upload next week.
I'll also try to organize some of the other freebies I worked on over the past year.
Hope everything went okay with the procedure(?) Sam... and they were able to figure out where everything went and put you back together... in any better shape? Also, I hope it was nothing like the description in Bill's fantastically imagined back story for the Tenth Planet cybermen above!!! ;-)

Hey, thanks for the comment Sam. Had that one on the backburner from a few months back... this thread reminded me to render it ;-)
Yeah, it's an ST5, if I remember rightly.

Just an M4 morph I was working on... as featured in the "Something Wicked This Way Comes" render in my gallery... yes, the one featuring Daleks AND a Cyberman ;-)
I've got to get it in a reasonable enough shape to distribute... as initially it was just mushed together in ZBrush, well enough to do what I needed to do with it. Needs tweaked a bit more so that it works properly with M4's rigging and expression morphs, currently. But once I find some time, then, "Geronimo!" ...as they say...

Nice Cyber helmet Primorge :-)
I've got a Who themed freebie of my own I really need to find time to finish up. Hopefully fit it in soon... if I don't get too carried away following Sam's tutorial and trying to rig my own custom Daleks that is! ;-)
