K4 is very flexible ( see: https://jurn.link/dazposer/index.php/2021/09/05/survey-unusual-k4/ ) But for what you want you'd likely need the Morphlet toon morph pack, no longer sold.

Thread: Poser 13: Python script to batch render MP4s? | Forum: Poser 13
Ah, well here is D3D's 2008 "Three Poser Python scripts to set up FireFly renders and to batch render poses and scenes", posted by the man himself on Renderosity Freestuff, and flagged by him as "licensed for commercial or non-commercial use". https://www.renderosity.com/freestuff/items/51547/render-11 Includes renderscenes.py
Presumably, given the permissive licence, this could now be forked and 'tickled up a bit' to work for Poser 14 (I recall it didn't work in Poser 11)? The script itself does say simply "copyright" in the header, but presumably his later posting of the script(s) under a permissive licence voids that?

Thread: Can the 'new' Vue still do Poser imports? | Forum: Vue
If the new free Vue still has the old Poser SDK included in it, then it will require Poser 11 to also be installed on your PC. Then you set it up by telling Vue where Poser 11 is. You can also use Poser 12 (and 13, likely the forthcoming 14) with a bit of a workaround.

D3D's "Render Scenes" script shipped with Poser 11 as standard. From the readme: "'Render scenes' is a batch render[er] for several scene files". Only for images, but the script is in plain text and hackable Python, and looks at first glance like it could be made to do what you want with a little hacking.
It was not included in Poser 13. Needs WX for its UI, and I vaguely recall that Apple banned WX on Macs (along with so much else)? So perhaps, 'Windows only'?

The La Femme / La Homme 'Face Control' chips, aka control handles. They can be turned off in Preview, which may be useful for real-time comics production. The "Hide > Control Handle < Show" dial will make them vanish.

If it's just for the middle-distance, you could probably fake it in 3D with a brown telegraph pole and some grass-clumps.

Thread: It's quiet. Almost too quiet. | Forum: DAZ|Studio
I think one of the things we'll miss, in what will likely be reduced forums activity, is the miss-es. Poser's (non-Python coding) community has always been quite populated with females, whereas the AI community is very solidly male as far as I can see - with the very rare exceptions proving the rule.
That said, I see Poser and its wealth of royalty-free content as a valuable tool in "guiding" AI image generation to exactly what's wanted in the final image, and consistently so. Thus they're not really competitors, for anyone with any foresight. The misconception that they are competitors may diminish, if Poser "does a Krita" and integrates AI.

Thread: Rendering Sketch on Transparent Background | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
The problem with Poser Sketch renders, amazing and fast though they can be made, is: i) there is no transparent background in Sketch renders; and ii) the outline of the subject often 'wobbles' slightly due to the Sketch effect, which means it's then difficult to make a fringe-free cut-out from the Sketch render (by later using the Comic Book mode real-time render .PNG or Firefly .PNG as a mask in Photoshop).
One way to do it is to render on white, then use a 'knockout white to transparency' Action in Photoshop. https://www.deviantart.com/mutinate/art/Knockout-All-White-for-PS-889467682 Then manually resize a standard .PNG render in the layer below it, until the Sketch more or less lines up with it. That, if then filtering these flattened layers further, will sometimes do the trick.
Alternatively you can sketch a straightforward render in a filter, although in more limited ways. The only ones worth using for that are the standalone StudioArtist v5.5 or higher (vectorises, then does the effect) and the Photoshop plugin Redfield Sketchmaster 2018 or higher. Both are expensive.

Sounds good. I'd only add that moving to Poser 11 would have big benefits, and 11 would still 'talk' to Vue 2014. However, if it's all working for you, enjoy!
