Thanks for those links, I did find the batlab recruit suit and it looks great. Kobamax has some good stuff too.
The Day in the Office set and Nekoja have the same skin-tight revealing look as most of the stuff at Daz, maybe it's a limitation of Poser in general but it's just not what I'm looking for. Actually most poser clothing fits in the fetish category, I think it really limits the usefulness of the program for commercial work.
Thread: IMHO E-Frontier Poser 7 upgrade policy is disrespectful to Poser 6 customers | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Actually, I bought Poser 6 specifically for the upgrade to 7. I put it way up on the top shelf, still in the shrink-wrap. Every now and then I'd look at it and mutter "someday they'll release v.7 -Â that's where you come in, buddy".
If all they're offering are some surface changes and a new pipeline for their content I will definitely pass. How many thigh-high rubber boots with matching bustiers can one V3 wear?

I agree with Diana, it is a slap in the face for Poser 6 owners, especially since you could pick up Poser 4 for a few bucks - has it been given out for a free by any of the big 3D magazines? That would really suck.
As for the 'grand scale' argument, that can be applied to every single thing that ever goes wrong in life since I don't live in Sierra Leone or Saudi Arabia. House burned down? Robbed at gunpoint? Wrongly sentenced to a long prison term? One or more limbs amputated? You're still better off than most people in the third world but that doesn't mean you can't complain about it. In fact it's my responsibility as a soft Westerner to complain about things that don't really matter!

That's what suprised me, I thought Poser-Ray Dream-Carrara were all one happy family, or at least close relations.

For that t-shirt, could you add an 'untucked' morph? Speaking for myself, I rarely wear t-shirts tucked in.

I just checked out Poserworld and it is stuffed with content; I think I will sign up and give it a try. I did notice that most of the Michael clothes had that painted-on look where the shirts conform to his ridiculously rounded shoulders - it looks like he's got grapefruits stuffed under his shirt. I have never seen anyone with shoulders that look like that, not even bodybuilders. Does the Tailor help conform clothes to M3's body morphs?

PhilC, that looks almost like the fabled 'loose-fitting t-shirt' I have been looking for for so long. Whatever you can do to keep it from sticking to Mike like a wet t-shirt is fine by me, plus conforming to a more human-shaped figure. Looks great!

Here's a great tutorial to start off with, I just looked it over this week: http://www.curiouslabs.com/article/articleview/44/1/93/?nf=1 And here's another one I haven't tried yet but it looks useful: http://www.bryceworks.com/tutorial/mushbone/mushbone.html Google "poser bone tutorial" or "poser setup room" and you'll get a bunch of other links.

Yikes, those shoulders look kind of ridiculous. I hope you can dial those down a bit (or a lot).

I will try the baby, thanks for the tips. Unfortunately the preschool milkid doesn't match a toddler's body shape at all.

Thanks to everyone for the feedback, it encourages me to keep trying to up the ante. It took about 2 1/2 months of my 'spare' time to do this one (the opening shot alone took 13 hours to render on a P4 with a gig or RAM, and longer than that to model and animate), so there won't be an encore for a little while. I'm going away for a few weeks but when I get back I may post a couple of shorter films I did before this one. The first one I made is also available at the same site (halfway down the page I think):

Thanks again!

Here's the main link for their site: http://e-show.org/media/Animation/animation.htm If the quicktime takes too long, try the realmedia .rm version, which seems to load pretty quickly. Thanks for all the feedback!
Thread: Help with Object Mask | Forum: Bryce
Thanks for the tip - I was able to make masks of each tree individually, though, just not all together at the same time.
Thread: any suggestions for the walk designer? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I have loaded in the specific models for the WD and it still doesn't give usable results. I have to go in and painstakingly adjust the shin's side-to-side and bend keyframes to get it looking sort of normal.
