I have been following these threads on all of this, and feel that I have to say I do not support the guidelines. Whether you are making and posting your very first fractal or you are a seasoned fractalist, you should have the right to choice where you post it. This fractal gallery is made up of some of the very best fractal artists in the world....as well the aspiring artists. I feel that the guidelines are only inhibiting, and limiting. Not to mention that it is all so very subjective. Not everyone has the same view. Each and every one of us has the right to choose, we can choose not to look at an image if we don't like it. We are all allowed our opinions. I feel that we should be allowed to choose where we put our creations, without fear of it being moved, or someone asking us to move it. I have seen so many postings from people questioning their art, and asking for others opinions on "where this belongs?" There are members out there that are so very confused by all of this, and now are in turn questioning themselves, and their work. Is that the purpose of the guidelines? I strongly feel that the guidelines need to be lifted, in order for each and every member....past, present, and future to feel welcome here in the Fractal Gallery!

I did notify all the authors I knew of. I am also not sure about anyone allowing their art to be 're-worked' like that. Yeah....I saw that little statement. Right.

Yup....the backgrounds are definately not hers. At least Four of them that I have seen so far. All those little sublogs too. They appear links to other pages...but it is all the same.

I just want to say to everyone that posted their kind words to me here. Such moving words of encouragement, and enlightenment. I appreciate each and every one of you so much...for taking the time and effort to give your thoughts for me. I must admit...I was feeling very down and low. You all have helped me to see what I should have been believing in...all along. Maybe that is what I needed...for we are given many gifts...if we choose to accept and embrace them is up to us. I do! I was taught a valuable lesson in all of this...and it has lifted a weight. My most sincere Thanks...to each and every one of you! It warms my heart...your words...I appreciate them very much. Angie

Mindy~Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You know how I feel about you already! hugs I really did not expect all of this.... I know exactly what you mean though. All I ever did was be kind to everyone, and show my art in return. I thank you for being my mentor and friend... and for creating amazing art that never ceases to inspire me!
