I haven't tried changing the load order. I haven't got Poser loaded to give the build number but I downloaded it last week, so pretty much the latest build. ypvs posted at 10:33PM Sun, 09 February 2020 - #4379677
Have you tried loading the scene in a different order? Jacket first into an empty scene? Can you edit/create the jacket CR2 down to no textures and try that
Which build version of Poser are you using?

Thanks for trying, Mate. I'm loathe to reinstall whilst Poser is relatively stable but I may do it a bit later. Unfortunately I've always found 11 a bit twitchy although it is loads more stable nowadays.

Hi ya, AmyLBone...
I struck out! I could not make Poser 11 crash.
I slapped a Parrot dolphin texture on 3D-Age's Office suit VIII outfit, used a fully morphed V4, added, changed and modified V4's morphs.... I did not inject them, so if you are injecting every time, I'll need to try that. Added libraries, and forced refreshes to show me the stuff I installed during the process.
Built a scene around V4 in the Business attire... Gave her shiny Boots, Added a Snake for S's & Gee's and to increase the scene size, (it's currently 274 MB) Sent Poser to the background. both during the scene building and the rendering.... Rendered in Superfly and Fire Fly, with Saint Fox lights, and production settings....
Canceled several renders. (that always crashes PP2014 )
Which is a lot of words to say I couldn't dupe your issue. While this is always my least favorite option, have you tired reinstalling Poser?
Or totally uninstalling it via a 3rd party tool? (*** SAVE your Preferences***) and installing poser to a clean-ish environment.Another possibility I'm loath to suggest is booting to safe mode and Launching Poser from there to see if the issue still occurs.
I'm sorry to have failed you!
Andy

It's not likely, but you may want to have someone check on the SubDivision levels set in the jacket. Since you can't even load it without a desktop crash, someone else will have to do it for you.
I recently had a store product which would initially load fine, allow me to set up and pose the scene and render. Then, if I tried to re-load the scene, it would simply cause a CTD every time. I eventually loaded the PZ3 file in Poser File Editor and reset the subD on the product to 0 and the scene loads fine.
My computer is starting to show it's age, so I have to be careful how much I am trying to jam into a scene. Thanks for the advice. I sympathise on the system front. I didn't realize just how creaky my system had got until I upgraded and did a fresh install on a new HDD. I don't have time to make a brew whilst waiting for Vicky 4 to load anymore.

I'll play over the weekend.
I'm pretty much grasping at straws, but ya gotta start somewhere! But are you saying that when you spin certain morphs the jacket is likely to crash poser? if so, is it ALWAYS these morphs???
No I don't get that far it crashes even if I haven't spun any dials yet.

Thanks for the assist. I was using Office Suit VIII. The dress loads okay but when I load the jacket it throws a wobbly and crashes. Initially I thought it might be scene size but when I tried it in a fresh scene with just Vicky it still crashed.
I will admit to having a lot of morphs loaded but not dialled. Morphs ++, Elite, Ethnic, NGM Muscle & Victoria Plus. It only seems to happen with a handful of items. Wanted DOA was going onto a Michael 4 with Morphs ++, Elite and Hiro loaded.
I don't think it's a resource issue as the reason I had to reinstall was upgrading from an old Athlon II to Ryzen 7 and frankly everything is working a lot better. And as I said, it even crashed with a virtually empty scene. I had the problem under the old system as well, but not with outfits Wanted DOA which is weird to say the least.

The New Rewards page which has replaced Render Rewards has very little information about the new reward system. What concerns me is that the Render Rewards accrued through May purchases will not now be received. I hope this is not the case, but if you have changed the Terms and Conditions of sales, do you not feel it would have been fair to give some notice of this?
Okay, so I have just found the addition to the gift certificate section of my account. I guess that's last month's Render Rewards. Apologies for the meltdown, but letting us know what's going on might have helped.

It always worries me when a company issues a statement to assure it's customers that it is committed to a given part of it's business...Maybe I'm just being cynical. I sure hope so.
