Another solution would be to mark the materials as assets and reapply them to the other objs. It would take more time to do it like that. On the other hand you can save the blend file with your materials , link it as an asset library in the preferences and then pull your materials for another scene from the asset browser. It's not as seamless as Poser or DAZ but could be pretty convenient.
Thread: Is Bryce dying? | Forum: Bryce
I do not argue with your insights, gabrierikdesign and I fully agree that Daz 3D is completely ignorant of Bryce, it does not even accept new assets (my second last was declined within 35 seconds (!) and the last one I tried took less than 2 minutes to be declined). Interestingly enough, I have 59 sets for Bryce in the Daz store and they still sell enough for Daz 3D to keep me as a PA.
WOW. I've been thinking about creating things for Bryce, and the thing that stopped me was believing that people are not interested in Bryce anymore, because there are no new products for Bryce coming out. Kind of like self-fulfilling prophecy.
Thread: So...Bryce is dead? | Forum: Bryce
I don't think Bryce is dead, maybe not so popular, but they are still plenty of people who use it. In fact, if by some miracle there is a new version of Bryce to come out tomorrow, there would probably be many people jumping on it. I saw some music videos made with Bryce just last month.

Thread: Not much happening here! | Forum: Bryce
I just dig up Bryce again. Usually Blender is my main program for certain things, but Bryce still has certain advantages. About OpenSea, since most of the people who buy NFTs think of them as investment as well as art, I would think sticking some sort of watermark on your work (especially if it's in the center) will deter people from grabbing your work and sticking it on Opensea. Considering how much some stuff there goes for, it wouldn't be very smart to buy something that has an artist's name in the middle of it, different from the name of the account that is selling it. It is not a 100% solution, but it does help some. Moreover, to buy on OpenSea you have to use crypto and even if you buy something cheap there would be still gas fees in most cases, which can add up.

Thread: Convert .max file into .3ds or .obj or... | Forum: 3D Modeling
Thanks for the link, I have been looking for an online solution to convert .max files. I usually avoid them, because they are hard to convert.
