Maybe the hand and feet ratio was intentional to make her look a bit clumsy as in cute. Which has its right of course. But I think smaller, more mature looking feet match her pin-up appearance much better. Pin-ups is what I want do with her anyway. The mertail looks great, Jim! Looking forward to it. I find the vestigial feet are a very adequate conception for it. Love mermaids and already planned to make a MerGirl image (for my Thetis works).

These smaller feet that you morphed, become her very well! Her original feet and hands seem a bit to big compared to the rest of her body.

Love the set of post no. 6! She definitely needs more shoes, as in high heels. Am tempted to buy the resorts collection mainly because of the shoes in it - like Genny.
Thread: I know i can be flamed for this... ;) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
So much complaining about lacking quality in the galleries and at the same time many say, they don't even look at the galleries! That's illogical. I look as often, as I have time. And I find quality. BTW, what is wrong with some beautiful pin-ups? If they are good work, I look at them rather than at always the same stereotype renders of victoria in flowing robes.

Images with nudity may get many hits but no more comments than other images. It's the friends/ebots system that controls the amount of comments and votes an image gets. I've seen lots of pretty good, but far from perfect images, that were nonetheless buried under huge heaps of praises. Non regarding any flaws that these images may have. And I saw very good works here, that gathered only few comments. If someone is on many people's favorite artists list, he'll get lots of comments within minutes after uploading an image. Who's not will get only the comments by accidential viewers.

Thread: What makes you click? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Well, yes, I would have skipped that one, Xantor, but I would have clicked on "The Boy". I think a thumb should give the viewer a certain hint what might await him. It seems that extreme cropping and even thumbs with no information about the image at all are a specialty of Poser galleries. In the photo gallery you see most often thumbs that are miniatures of the whole photo. So the viewer can quickly decide if it's worth clicking on the thumb.
Thread: Humble suggestion to forum mods/coordinators... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote: "LOL! I never imagined suggesting a "post count" in the forums would be the least bit controversial." Well, there you have it! There are different opinions about that. Like about everything in life. I don't miss a post count to tell me who's posting how much. Not how much one says matters to me, but what he says. I like this place as a valued source of information. The most people posting here are searching for information or stuff or are so kind to give the searched informations. It's easy to browse the posted threads and due to the search function you can find even informations given in older posts. It's functional and most people are nice around here. Quote: "However, it is common that when someone trolls, there's often someone accusing them of trolling along with the additional comment of "he has nothing in his gallery, he has no free stuff contributions", etc. It gives people the impression that if they have no gallery or free stuff, that they don't contribute in any way, and that's not the case." I saw this he-has-nothing-in-his-galleries-statement only expressed in cases, when it was already more than clear that someone was badgering. And that was deducted from what he had said and/or done, not how many posts he had. "So it was a suggestion to BENEFIT people who do contribute in more than just the common ways, not the other way around." Counting the posts to decide about someone's character is in my opinion no better than counting his images. Someone can be a very communicative person and pile up lots of posts. But this alone don't say that he is more valuable to the community than one who speaks up more seldom.

Thanks a lot, Les! :) It was in fact "Ground Shadows", which was bothering me all the time. Feeling a little slow now, not figuring that out ... Beka
Thread: help I killed my ground | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Wanted to kill that darn ground all the time! Cause this ground, while being invisible in renders, drives me nuts because it often blocks vision when I'm setting up a scene. Never knew how to get rid of this. Go trying that CTLR-E or CTLR-G thing now. Thanks for bringing this up, Logan.
Thread: Time it takes | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Always longer than I expected... sigh. Most times I render for one to three days producing about the same amount of images and than postwork them on another one or two days. This way I can make three images in a week (if it is a good week with enough time to sit at my PC).
