Thanks, that prevents cross pollination (my term), but has no effect on relaunching Vue to find all the objects have moved to another layer leaving their original layers empty. I'm waiting for an answer from e-on.

In the begining I felt I was saving it fairly often, but definitely after the last crash, I save it after every keystroke (slight exaggeration). I place an object; I save. I scale it and move it; I save. before and after every preview render I save. It's getting to the point where I'm saving more than working, but still the layer shuffle happens.

Peggy, I guess it could be considered "all" files because I have been forced to start from scratch several times. But as long as the system doesn't crash, I save under a new name as I significantly progress. Since I purchased Vue 6, I've only been working on this one project and this one scene. I have contacted e-on about this. I've also encountered the unintentional pollination. It seems to happen when I try to select different layers or objects using my wacom pen. When I use my trackball or mouse it doesn't happen. Thanks Brian

I don't usually say very much, but I agree. I bought Carrara thinking I could use it in conjunction with Poser 4, but I was very upset to find I couldn't. I feel limited with my poser creations because there is no world I can place them in. CL and Eovia, hurry up and make the GD plugin already!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
