I don't know what to say about Poser importing- all you need to do is import the texture maps from Poser, into Bryce. That has worked since at least Bryce 3D. If you don't know how to do this, take a gander at http://www.petersharpe.com/Tutorial11.htm . According to Amazon.com, Bryce 5 will be released on July 10th. More info available at (__ http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00005LD1F/o/qid=992117680/sr=2-6/ref=aps_sr_s_2_3/104-1740779-9074348 __) URL will wrap, get everything between the marks. As far as the negative comments you guys seem to bestow upon the program, just wait till the program is out, read the reviews and see the images (take a look at http://www.bryce5.net if you've got a few minutes), and decide if you're willing to give this program a try. I can't comment on features, as I'm also a tester. Clay said it best: we just need to test it. You don't like B5? Think something is missing? Let Corel know and maybe they'll work it into B6. Yes... Short answer: Take a cylinder or something of the same shape as the door, make it Negative, and boolean it with a Positive thing of bricks. Longer answer: 1) Get your birck material, apply it to a terrain or a cube. If you have more than one object with the brick material, and are afraid part of one willshow up in the doorspace, select each object and make it positive. Select those objects and group them, then make this group positive. This would be a boolean addition. 2) Now take the a circular shaped object and get it to fill the required space the door would take up. Select it and make it negative, then group with the positive bricks. Viola, a hole-y doorframe. Hope this works.
Thread: HELP!!!! Is there another renderer you can add on to Bryce 4? | Forum: Bryce
It appears that the Intel RSX stands for Realistic Sound Experience and is included in the Realistic Display Mixer release found at http://developer.intel.com/ial/rdx/release.htm. Are the drivers for sound or video? It looks to me like they're for sound. Do you have a URl handy for the drivers? From your description it seems cool. Thanks.

The Intel RSX drivers would not be another renderer only a different visualization mode like Sree 3D and OpenGL. It should not affect the Bryce renderer unless it somehow enables Bryce to compute and raytrace quicker. Am I wrong on this assumption? Waldo
