I have to confess i do like it when people say nice things about my images. I have suffered with depression and self confidence problems in all areas of my life, for many years now, because of childhood traumas. It really boosts my confidence that i can do stuff that other people like, even tho most of the time i am dissatisfied with my efforts

Thats just the prob Tim, i do look at the fractal gallery by genre. As you say (and it IS good that others are growing to love fractaling) but the pictures (all of them) dont stay on the 1st page for very long cos of the volume of posts. I was suggesting that maybe we could have more thumbnails per page so they didnt go off the page so quick. Thanx

It depends what programe i am using either UF of Apo. With Apo i do random batches until i find something i like colour or shape. I like both........ the crisp sharp images if i see just a one flame image. The more blurred ones perhaps, if i can see the potential for a composite flame.
UF i have to be in a patient mood for because, i find it's layering properties exciting but hard to master. But i love other peoples creations in both apps, and marvel at them, particularly UF

I'm sorry Harmen, i dont understand what you mean. How will changing the number of thumbnails change anything........... are you getting at me, by any chance?

When you say "private" formulas, do you mean the author has sent you a personal copy of his formula. I didn't know we were able (allowed) to ask. Very often i cannot open images in UF 'cos the formulas are not on the public formula db
