Quote - These are the BO Duperhose and yes, they are conforming. The trick is to shrink them that 85% is 'inside' her body, then apply Mesh Smoothing with collision item V4. Adjust the setting untill everthing fits. :)
Ahh, that sounds like a very clever idea! Thanks!

Quote - Justine in white, pantyhose, panties, dress and pumps, all white since some of you like that :)
Looks outstanding as always. Can I ask what pantyhose those are? They look great. I'm always figthing the gap between the mesh and skin. Are these conforming?

Quote - Simple scene. I like how the couch turned out, not sure about the girl though.
I'd certainly rather have that on my couch than a couple of pillows or a throw...

how can it be, that we still not can do this in daz programs?
these dynamics are possible in all the games of today.
where are these dynamics in daz world?
There is this little thing you might have heard of called money. Games have a much, much, much bigger budget than either Poser or DS development. Also those effects are optimized for those models in that game, whereas in Poser or DS it has to be a one size fits all solution. I hate to break it to you, but the 3D art hobbiest market has never been cutting edge.

Quote - Thanks guys. This is very useful. My last dalliance with DS was a while ago. The rendering engine was basically a very rudimentary scanline renderer with no AO or GI capabilities which really hampers realism.
Your images are quite impressive DustRider. If you achieved that in DS with no 3rd party add-ons I'd be confident to give DS another try.
My interest in DS was sparked by the Genesis models since they are not available to Poser.
Actually your characterization of the rendering engine is inaccurate. The 3Delight renderer is excellent. The shortcomings were in how much of it's functionality Daz used, which was very little. Most of the features of that engine you can not even see or address in vanilla Daz Studio. Most of the add in shaders you see are just giving you ways to address that hidden functionality.
