I never thought to get this Result in "Getting a bit wiser".

1st @ Bagginsbill:  =o( ... you got it: I am not the biggest Manual-Fan. And you`re completly right: If i would read a bit more... i would see that there are Solutions right on my Harddrive.

@ Millighost: Thats my bad english! I sure HAVE an OK-Button... i just meant that there is also the Option to hit ENTER than always clicking an OK-Button.

Main Frustration was the UI.... I really loved the old one... but Dad is also a Posermaniac, and...te one with the money. =o)

Now that P8 is in the House... a lot of new Problems are TOO. That line leads to KALYPSO:

Its a bit soothing to read... that i am not the only one with Probs.Well YES: I allready was at ADOBEs Page and got myself the latest Flashplayer. We`ll see if THAT makes things a bit smoother....

My Runtime is 39 Gigs. But yesterday Evening i experienced the following:

Well,yes: Hitting "OK"...let Poser 8 freeze, but:

Hitting the "ENTER-Key" with my Finger instead of the "OK-Button" with the Mouse WORKS!!!

Straaange!

I uninstalled Poser 8, I installed SR 3.0.... still the same Effect.

Today i will try to install the latest NVIDIA-Driver (I am running XP SP3 with a Gforce 9500GT, Driverversion 258.96), cause i recogniced that its up to Version 266.58.

Yes...Disapointment is in da House!!! I am really not old fashioned...but i like the old UI more! SURE: 8 has great new Features!!!!Thats the Reason why i bought it in the end...but this Problem here really sucks, and the Library-Thumbnails are much to small. OK...they get bigger when you click on them...but the old Library-Browser for me was more usable.

Yes, i do! BUT: I allready HAVE disabled to skin POSER!  =o(

So, i am frustrated mucho now. Yesterday ive installed the latest NVIDIA-Driver in a clean way. Mean: I uninstalled the actual Driver, and used Drive Cleaner to remove the last Bit of that Driver. After a Restart i started to install the new NVIDIA. The Effect is still THERE! Now today ive uninstalled Poser Pro, and reinstalled it....the Effect is still there, but with this Screed, its gone.
Now... i don`t really KNOW what Screed is! What i can see is that the Preview is not that good as in OGL.
For Example... Hair looks bad with Screed.
Can somebody explain what Screed exactly IS?

I`ll check this out. Sounds a cool Solution....

and Tashar59... your Statement is right, but i can live with that. In the end i can switch the Poser.ini back to "normal" State, if i find that its uncomfortable for me.

Anybody a clue about my "Seethrough"-Effect???

It worked like a charm, Phil!

I did like you wrote.... pasted the faked Null.obl into RuntimeGeometries.
Poser did NOT asked THIS TIME !
Seems it found the Null.obj by itself via Deep Filesearch, i guess.

Anyway:
Now i can concentrate on the MAIN-Thing i bought Poser for: To do some fine Images.
Like some People buy a Car... **to DRIVE with it...**not to analyze the MOTOR all the time.

I have my Copy just a week... and now i will go lean to use the Wardrobe Wizard.
THAT might be a fine adventure....
A last Question by a Newbie (sorry if it might sound dumb):
I still own my "old" Poser 7.
Now i thought to use that Andy-Figure in Poser 7 also. But... i can not find Andy anywhere.  =o(
I tied to export Andy as an OBJ... but when IMporting him into P7 i realized, that i can not bend his Bodyparts no more.
So: Does anybody know
**A: **where the Andy-Figure IS... which Folder he is in?
B: is it possible to load him into P7
C: Is he too a cr2?

What a Luck that YOU have read my Trouble!!!! Most of my (little) Knowledge  ive learned at **YOUR Page.** Youre such a great Teacher... i have to say this. And its never ever "fishing for compliments"!
It is what it IS. Period.

Now, i hope i will do everything right with your advice.
Anyway: This is a Startingpoint... and i do NOT feel that helpless anymore.
Cause its frustrating when someone searches the "mighty" Google for Null.obj... and gets NOTHING!   =o(
Even Smith Micro`s Support-Page came up with "No results" on Null.obj!!!!!
Such a shame... What is a Support, when they let you "standing in the Rain alone"?

Not everybody is an expert... like me... i came from the classic Photography, and am impressed of Posers Possibilities with Lighting!
