You need to increase the size of the map. For general purposes, 1024x1024 will give crisp textures close-up and far away.

Oh yeah--one more thing. Poser people teeth are not very detailed. If you have the Zygote winding teeth, those would work much better.

You need to adjust transperancy for the skin, lips, eyes, and so on to 100% and falloff to 0.0 otherwise you will get an overlap.

Wernbowl-- I tried setting up a head replacement cr2 file using the poser 2 figure hand controls, C Exceptions all around. I talked to steve about this and it turns out that the P2 hands are actually figure-specific program codes, so they will cause errors trying them with other figures or with other body parts. After i heard that, I just tried changing the hand geometry that Poser references in the Cr2 (in RuntimeGeometriesMaleHandsHi), no luck. The hand parts stay identical even when the source OBJ files are changed or when the reference to them in the cr2 is changed. This must also be embedded in the program.
Thread: Zygote Skeleton Model | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
The Zygote skeleton has more moveable parts, teeth, and is much more detailed (and is anatomically correct). It also fits inside of Poser man. If you need to go into any detail and you can afford to buy the zygote skeleton, go for it.

I tried out the trueSpace plugin demo version. The figures are choppy around the seams (but i suppose some of that could be expected). The preview windows are somewhat difficult to work with and would be extremely hard to manage on any monitor under 17". The figure's have good limbs (and tails when you add them) and the body part choice menus are failry easy to work with. The head and torsos are lacking, or at least the selection included in the demo is. Since i couldn't port the models out of the plugin, i didn't get a chance to test body groups (but it looks like there will be one for each body part your customize). I'm not sure about materials on figures, it's all plain white in the preview. Something tells me mapping could be a problem, so be sure you have some mapping tool handy for these figures. I bet it could be handy for making Poser figures, but i'd worry about them looking factory assembled. Note: Creature creator is indeed best for making creatures, the human body parts are definitely lacking. I'd say get it if you have trouble modeling body parts and need to make a non-descript creature, but pass this one over if you have good modeling capabilities already.

You will always receive a warning message about your post being deleted by a forum administrator if the deletion is going to count towards your 3 strikes. I'm not aware of any warning messages that have been sent to you, DAD. If you seem to be having a problem with not seeing your posts, you can always contact one of us or post to the News & Team Contact forum and we will reply promptly. If you look on the Team Contact board, there's currently a post on there about not finding a gallery image after it was posted. There is a forum bug that ignores the time of the posting and simply sorts by the date of the posting in the funstuff and the gallery. If you don't see it on the first page, check the second page.

The Sketch Designer presets are stored in Poser 4>Runtime>Prefs>Sketch Presets. You can swap those with anyone else who uses Poser 4. There's no way to export sketch presets to another format, the only program they'll work with is P4.

Let's get a couple of things cleared up here: 1-PZ3 files are OK to sell so long as you remove morph targets and the like from them. This also applies to figures that the grouping tool has been used on, grouping tooled parts add geometry to the pz3 file. The actual figure file is referenced in the Pz3/Cr2 file like a hyperlink to a web page. If the geometry is not already present, the link will fail. 2-Original images, video clips, etc. you make in Poser are OK to sell and freely distribute. You have a license to use the Zygote models for this purpose. 3-Selling a geometry or distributing a geometry without the maker's permission is ILLEGAL. The morph target/PZ3/CR2 file trade was allowed by Zygote in a copyright debate way-back-when. This was done to support and encourage Poser users. Morph targets may not be sold. 4-Objaction Mover format may be sold since it does not contain any geometry, only a modification. The file requires you to own the geometry before hand and tells Mover how to change the model, therefore an Objaction file is not a derivitive work on its own.
