I found susan kitchens "Real world bryce" to be very useful,although written for bryce4,many applications obviously adapt to Bryce5,the book retails for around 50$ US,but I utilized my public library's unique system,they have a library sharing system,I paid postage of 2$ & they had it delivered from another library ,ciao

I think the main problem would probably be a hi poly count? anyone? same with exporting a .3ds file out of the terrain editor,if my poly count is hi my box will seem to lock up when exporting,but then again I'm still using a voodoo5 hehe.

Nice otis,but if one shuts off all atmosphere variables,ie....cloud cover,fog,etc,then turn the sun off,click on the floor in the scene & check "hidden",I get the same effect without being confused of the augmented camera settings,peace all & please keep the knowledge coming:)
