Sorry sorry wasn't thinking ok so i have changed it around and messed with it some more and ended up with this now.

Quote - the tutorial is showing ripples using the displacement option rather than bump. You need to set on "use displacement maps" in render settings for that to work.
Ok thanks alot =) that got me a little closer still not quite there yet though. I guess that will come with more experience any other tips on trying to get the water to look a little more realistic because now it has a 2d feel to it.

Thanks greatly really appreciate the help. Ok perfect on the wings ive found some great models for wings with all the help. Now for a model i wanted to do a male model its going to be a gloomy type tone im not sure which model would be the best for this project any suggestions? And which program should i start all of this in *i have poser 7 vue dazz and 3ds max(not to familiar with that one) i was told poser by a friend.
If so poser then could someone be so kind to breakdown just the parts i should be doing in poser (poses morphs, ect) or if i should just be doing everything in general in it.

Nice thanks alot found those sights really helpful so im going to start working on it today im assuming it will take me at least a month seeing how im not too good with the programs just yet but im going to stick with it. =)
