Ah thanks, now that you say that straight away I've realised the mistake. Yes infact in the tut it says 360/12 for 12 segments so yes all I have to do to get 364 segments is as you say 360/364...there I was trying to be too clever lol. I will try it out later. Many thanks!

hmmm thats interesting, i have access to Corel Draw, I'll try that the ntake it back into Photoshop, thanks for the tip...is there a way oftelling Corel how many timesto do it rather than havingto keep a count? At 364 I'm bound to loose count hahahaha

Thanks for the link, that does explain the process well enough and it will certainly help me in other projects, however, Illustrator will only allow me to add a range of 0-360 of the roational dialogue and to make a dial with 364 days (ie one year) I need to enter 360/.989 which it wont allow....Any thoughts or work arounds?

Geo this looks really good and very handy, I have some project that this would be very usefull for, I've tried doing planets myself and although I love doing my own textures I just haven't been able to do planets to my satisfaction so this is one to look forward too and at a reasonable price too.
